  1. Well, this is funny. When even a site that's known for posting plenty of unsubstantiated rumors itself is rebuking people...
  2. Yeah... I actually haven't commented on our cap space at all.
  3. That's pretty funny coming from you
  4. I'm pretty sure the only place you're "inside" is your mother's basement.
  5. You can feel however you want. I prefer to deal in reality myself.
  6. Over this? Not likely. There are some real world things regarding my lady and I purchasing a house that are actual headaches right now, but even those aren't to "stroke out" levels. (yet) Heck, talking football is an escape.
  7. Not sure what makes you think I have that power, but I wouldn't even if I did. The wiser choice would probably be to change the title because this isn't an update. It's purely hypothetical.
  8. You posted this as a "Deshaun Watson update".
  9. JPA is just some guy with a Twitter. So basically, some guy with a Twitter quoted another guy with a Twitter who misquoted David Newton, of all possible sources. Newton, the same guy McCaffrey clapped back at for insinuating that he was throwing Teddy Bridgewater under the bus. And in this case, Newton himself says it was just a hypothetical "bold prediction". Anybody taking this seriously...
  10. You guys get that this is not actually happening, right? (or does that part not matter?)
  11. The guy who tweeted it out as a report is getting called out for being misleading... ...and admits he didn't actually see it in proper context.
  12. It's not a report. They were asked to make bold predictions and this was his. It's basically a hypothetical.
  13. And it's possible we still would have won. But the suggestion that putting Walker in there would have made us more likely to win just doesn't hold up. He just isn't that good.
  14. I don't know that we would have lost the game, but you propped up Walker saying he won the only game he played in. I pointed out that wasn't true, and that when he played against a better defense he looked terrible.
  15. Walker played several series in the Saints game, and played terribly. He threw three interceptions, all of which looked bad, and ended the game with a 20.5 rating. That's how he looked when he wasn't playing the worst defense in the league.
  16. Fontenot was a guy I hoped we'd look at over the past few years. I have a feeling he's going to be good for the Falcons, which unfortunately is bad for us.
  17. I'd prefer a different outcome.
  18. Either way, I think we should consider their spot as one where a quarterback is most likely to be taken. If not by the Falcons themselves, then by someone else who trades up.
  19. From the article... Fontenot said he has studied the work of former Packers GM Ron Wolf, and agrees with Wolf’s assessment that it’s never a bad time to bring in a quarterback. “You look at Ron Wolf,” Fontenot told NFL Media. “You always bring in quarterbacks. You need to bring in quarterbacks, whether it’s in the draft, whether it’s in free agency, or signing guys off the street. It’s so important, bring in quarterbacks a lot, build strengths.” Worth noting that even if they're not interested in drafting a quarterback, Fontenot could be looking to dangle their pick as bait for somebody who is interested to trade up.
  20. I doubt the Dolphins or Jets agree to any trade of their top picks as long as there's a chance that Deshaun Watson might be traded. As we get closer to the draft maybe...
