    Go back to Monsta's post. Igo's theory was that the chatter about him playing for us for cheap was a fallback strategy in case he didn't get any offers. I'd say that's a pretty solid theory given that for quite a while, he didn't. And now that he has signed, the team that did it is getting plenty of backlash. So no, I don't buy it. Never did.

    Not sure I'd equate those two. McDonald's first incident was investigated by a cop who worked part time for the 49ers doing security. Surprise surprise, no charges filed. Of course, McDonald is an utter moron so he went and got himself arrested yet again, and an embarrassed 49ers team had little choice but to boot him in order to save face

    Big difference between fighting with a teammate and hitting a woman. An even bigger difference now in the post Ray Rice era. Whatever chance Hardy might have had to stay here before completely vanished when the Ray Rice story blew up.

    Couldn't tell ya. Everything I know about geese - real or imagined - wouldn't fill an index card. My nephew used to have a pet goose and my girlfriend's daughter had a duck for a while. Plus I used to live in a town that had a Blue Goose Motel but I never stayed there.

    I've long believed that they really wanted a tackle in the first round last year, but after Ju'wuan James was taken there were no first rounders left.

    I'd forgotten about Stills. That article actually makes it sound unlikely they'll sign Jennings at all, now or later.
