  1. Scott Fitterer...but you also have to be very careful to understand what he's saying and what he isn't. Like a typical GM, nearly all of what he says is couched in 'flexible" language, i.e. "we don't foresee this', "we think we'll do that", etc. Keeping options open is something a smart team does. And yes, I do think we can know be considered a smart team.
  2. Agreed. As has been said many times, it's not his size that scares me. It's a question of durability. I don't want him to be Wilson, but Wilson has been fairly durable for the most part. I'd definitely take that part of his game.
  3. Fair I've said before that him being the quarterback of a team who has Sam Mills as a big part of their history is a hell of a story. That seems to be the thing.
  4. Hell, we still might. If there's one thing this current regime seems to be extremely good at, it's protecting information. We used to be able to see a lot more things ahead of time. These days there's an awful lot of surprises. (the Appaloosa Way is pretty much dead and buried)
  5. Don't know, but we have had a couple of recent idiots join up. I think those of us who have seen Chuck's many identities have a built in paranoia Honestly I'm kind of surprised Dr Lunker doesn't seem to have returned, but given that this offseason destroyed a lot of his running narrative I guess I shouldn't be.
  6. Reporting has been that they were at least at the start of the process. Whether they still are now is unknown.
  7. I've said before that if such an offer happens, it probably won't be until the day of the draft, maybe even while we're on the clock. If it happens before, it would probably be really close to the date. I think the day of is much more likely though.
  8. Which is their standard position, and I believe still true right now. I know people freak out at the idea but they really shouldn't. It could turn out to be a very smart deal.
  9. I see a whole lot of this with people talking about Bryce Young. And yeah, I get it. That's to be expected. To be honest though, If he's our pick, I don't want Young to be the next Russell Wilson. I'd much rather he be a shorter, smaller version of Peyton Manning.
  10. To be fair, I'd expect that to be something that they would have discussed even if Young were just a possibility. I know guys will see this as confirmation of Young being the pick, and he very well could be, but this doesn't really say anything definitive.
  11. Okay, somebody look up what receivers visited last week cuz apparently one of them was a big hit.
  12. ...but adds they'll listen to offers if one "makes sense". Would say they're not expecting anything but still keeping their options open.
  13. Possibly, but it is kinda hard to say for sure given that's the only guy everybody seems to be asking about.
  14. I have no problem with the idea of drafting Young...except the same one everybody else has (concerns about his durability). I really dislike stupidity though
  15. Saw the name. Honestly can't remember him here. Guessing he wasn't around for long. Always hate to hear when someone passes young like this. .
  16. From a (mercifully) locked thread by the user: "My username is satire which I keep trying to explain (hence the blatant misspelling of his name) but the shitposters can’t read too well and certain words trigger them to post their absurdities and gets them all gussied up and red in the face lol. Fun times until the 27th for sure!" T'would appear somebody is full of sh-t
  17. Or a Panthers myth. If he's the pick, I hope for the former, but I also acknowledge the possibility of the latter.
