  1. Outside of Belichick, what full control coaches are dominating the NFL right now? (hell, even Belichick isn't looking so good without Brady)
  2. Not really. It's primarily about Tepper just throwing money at the hottest name in the media again. But if we were to make that comparison I'd say while Harbaugh is a much superior coach, he's also a very similar personality.
  3. I'm not that big a Harbaugh fan. And frankly, I don't give a sh-t how much they cost. It's what they do for the money.
  4. Rapsheet writes that if Michigan were to make him the highest paid coach in college football, he might just stay put.
  5. If the alternative is him learning nothing and making the same stupid mistakes over and over again, I'll take it.
  6. I get the feeling if he didn't have football, Harbaugh might be the country's most prolific serial killer
  7. You don't believe in the offensive genius of Matt Patricia? Agree about Leftwich, and I was never that big on his hype anyway (too inexperienced) but Wilks reaching out to him If he were to become available is a scenario I could definitely see.
  8. ...unless you have Urban Meyer coaching. (probably would've been true with Matt Rhule as well)
  9. Yeah, Walton's fortune Is almost four times Tepper's. As to Harbaugh, Jones' article is a good read.
  10. People also said Tepper would get Deshaun Watson if he wanted him. Not sure where people get this idea that Tepper is some kind of godfather like figure. He's proven to be nothing of the sort. Jones makes It sounds like Harbaugh's "representation" have been The ones doing all the calling, not Harbaugh himself. My guess would be they've been calling us primarily because we're one of the teams that already has an opening, not necessarily out of any affinity for the Panthers.
  11. Denver isn't scared. Neither are the Colts (and the Dolphins might not be either, depending on what you believe). All that said, it sounds like the calls are coming from his people, not Harbaugh himself. And yeah, between his age and his personality, he might not be what Tepper is looking for.
  12. Rick Stroud thinks it's possible. If so, would a reunion with the coach who gave him his first OC job be conceivable? (strikes me as something Wilks could use as a potential selling point)
  13. Nah. They've got permission. But from what I've read other teams will be given permission and agree to requested compensation as well
  14. A year ago, one of the worst teams in the league... Today? In the playoffs as a division winner. Coaching matters
  15. Also, to clarify, this doesn't mean that Denver definitely wants Payton, or that Peyton definitely wants Denver. There's still a lot of interviewing and such for everybody to go through.
