Status update from Person... Nothing official can happen until they get that second Rooney Rule interview in.

His style of coaching isn't in vogue right now. Looking at the interview requests around the league, it's not hard to figure what style is.

To be fair, I kind of think that was more the GM than McVay.

His record wasn't so hot, though. And while I'll grant his rep may have been as much about things that were off the field (TV career, etc) fans were pounding for teams to call him on pretty much an annual basis. Doubt that happens now...

I get that, and I could definitely see him coming back. I can just also see a scenario where he wouldn't. As far as Gruden, I'm talking less about the emails that I am about the sh-tty job he did.

From Rhule's introductory press conference (David Tepper speaking) We were all sitting there interviewing Matt and it was me, Marty and Steven Drummond. And Marty's going with his toughness and his questions and we're about halfway through the interview and Marty Hurney starts melting down.
