  1. Doubt it's gonna shock anybody when I say he annoys the hell outta me with that stuff. "We;re fourth in this, third in that, etc", and he knows all that stuff right off the top of his head. But seriously, who gives a sh-t?! Win some games and then you can quote as many meaningless stats and rankings as you want. Till then, let's talk about something that actually matters.
  2. Snap count report only had Tremble in for four plays if I recall correctly...
  3. Or The Athletic. (or covering other teams)
  4. You're ruining my lunch
  5. I don't think Ellis Williams has that identity either.
  6. I thought it was The Process... Or was it The Brand... Okay it's probably The Suck
  7. Wouldn't argue that. I'd almost say he's more suited to be a fullback but he doesn't have the size for that and I don't know that he's that great a blocker.
  8. Remember McAdoo spent three or four years there not working for anybody. And yeah, I've also wondered if we're limiting the playbook. Others have mentioned that Giants fans saw it is normal so who can say?
  9. He apparently left practice for a bit. We've been wondering if something might be going on with him because he hasn't looked like his usual self.
  10. It was supposed to be a rock star. I think someone else called it a cover band.
  11. Don't think I agree there. He's capable of running pretty hard when he gets the ball. But the hands? Oy
  12. Couple notes... When Moore was a rookie, it seemed like he was great when he got the ball but it was tough getting him the ball. We called what I felt like were a lot of runs and reverses in order to hand it off to him rather than trying to pass it. That could be related to his route running. As far as the holding, the league for the last couple of years has basically told refs to go easy on it unless it's absolutely blatant. Some teams are good at taking advantage of that. I don't know that we are. I'm still trying to figure out what happened with Chinn. Near as I can tell it's like they looked at him and said "hey he's great at this so maybe he'll be great at that too" and started using him differently. But then he wasn't good at that and they don't seem to want to go back to using him at this. I don't think the players being out of position is due to depth concerns. I put that on coaches not knowing what they're doing. Brown can definitely be good. I'm just not sure he can be consistently good. And as far as going back to more WCO style on the offense, I'm for it. It works pretty well when done right and we've got some ideal personnel for that kind of attack. Good analysis.
  13. Because he had to hire somebody and McAdoo was one of the few guys that was interested. I don't really think Rhule's thought process goes deeply enough to ask the questions you're asking here.
  14. Which is a great thing to say after you spent the offseason building your offense around the idea you were gonna be run heavy...
  15. To be honest, I'm not even sure if it matters whether he still has a plan or not. The reality is Rhule just doesn't have the intelligence to be an NFL coach. Depending on what level your school is at in college, you're generally playing checkers or low-level chess. But the NFL game is populated with chess masters, some of them elite chess masters. There are a dozen subtle things going on with every play and every game plan. You can't just go at that kind of complexity with checkers level skills and expect to win.
