The story of that meeting is one of the things that made me uncomfortable about Rhule early on. Tried pretty hard to get past it, but it never really left. For his part, Tepper has at least admitted that early on he genuinely believed he was the smartest guy in the room and was going to show the rest of the league how it was done. Obviously he didn't, but the fact that he's willing to admit that is a good sign.

Dude, we all get it. You don't like Fitterer. You think he should have been fired. Everybody gets it at this point. The problem is that the reasoning behind your argument is, well... To be brutally honest, stupid. And it's not a super fan thing. The vast majority of people here would agree that Fitterer will and should be given a chance to see what he can do without having to answer to The Meatball. That's where we are. There are only a few people whining about it. You just happen to be the most vocal.

Again, no. What's you're suggesting is just dumb, regardless of who it's aimed at, and not just in terms of football. Why, under any circumstance, would you fire someone you believe is good at their job just because they were associated with someone who's bad? That's just goofy.

Yeah sorry, but this idea that coaches and GMs should be fired together is probably one of the silliest I've seen. Strategy like that would mean essentially rebuilding entire front offices and coaching staffs every few years. That kind of organizational instability even older Al Davis's Raiders would look down on. To top it all off, while decrying David Tepper as an owner, you are at the same time suggesting that he should be in charge of reorganizing the entire team structure every time somebody gets fired. I hope this is one of the times you're bullsh-tting because this is some of the dumbest takes I've seen around here in a while.

Yeah...not at all how it works in the real world. Throw in too that there are plenty of situations where one guy is better at his role than the other. What you're advocating is the proverbial throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Under your logic, the Eagles should have fired Howie Roseman about three coaches ago. Yet during that span they've been to the Super Bowl twice. Guess it's a good thing they don't listen to you

True Story: We have a one year old parakeet that throws an unholy fit every time a Panthers game comes on. When the Cowboys play though, she sits contentedly on Lady Cowboy Fan and watches. I wish I was making this up 🫥
