Panthers met with Hooker per report
Mr. Scot replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think the true "prevailing opinion" here is that we have a staff that knows what they're doing and we'll ultimately trust their decision. Even those people who have a preference for one quarterback or another have tended to say this. -

Not sure what he thought that clip was saying but it doesn't actually say sh-t about what we plan to do a quarterback. -
Still under 200...

I might be reading too much into this but...

I know you added the tag, but you do realize there are people on here delusional enough to take you seriously, right? -
This might come as a shock

The Combine starts today. The drills start Thursday.

Worth noting that it's lying season and this is exactly the kind of information that a team trying to get a great deal in return for the first overall pick would want out there

Gantt indicates the Panthers should bring in Carr
Mr. Scot replied to TheMaulClaw's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'd agree. Another AFC team might also be possible but less likely. An NFC team? Kinda doubt it. The Panthers? Zero chance. -
For all the talk about retread coaches and retread QBs, retread posters are much worse Wonder how many we have right now after the offseason festivities so far.

He may, but that conversation is highly unlikely to include the Panthers. The Jets are definitely possible though. -
Who we got this time?

Gun to my head, I don't think we end up with Carr. That said, I'm not discounting anything at this point. -
I think anybody who saw me in high school would have described me as the kind of player who would make a very good coach

I've read the actual behind the scenes stories. They make it pretty clear there's a difference between the public face and the private happenings.

Reich himself said those discussions weren't happening until this week. -
Bad news for fans of defense (and non-fand of NFL officiating)...

No, what he has is a front office that wants to work collaboratively with him rather than just dictating to him like the Colts did. -

Yeah, that's speculation. The story I'm citing comes from a conversation with longtime Packers reporter Bob McGinn. McGinn: Packers will move on from Rodgers McGinn, who has covered the Packers since forever, mentions Green Bay GM Brian Gutekunst, Head Coach Matt LaFleur and team CEO Mark Murphy all being "disgusted" and "done" with Rodgers, and says they firmly plans to move on from him. He adds also that they fully believe in backup Jordan Love. -

Callihan's a bit of a homer (he defended Rhule a lot) but he might have a point here.
