Come on now, he came pretty damn close to winning a championship not that long ago
-
Pretty sure the NFL requires this as a "just in case".

As weird as this season has been, I'm not even gonna try

Let's hope the next guy shows up.

I'd say his best option is to go back to being a position coach and work his way back up. From what I've been reading though, sounds like he'll be heading back to Green Bay in some capacity.

Forgetting the lessons of history and all that...

Yep, largely because of how I thought he'd handle things, especially staffing. But instead he went in the opposite direction of pretty much everything I expected him to do. With the connections he had between himself and his dad, he could've built a world class staff, but he chose to go with a load of inexperienced or underexperienced options. Then to top it all off, rather than drafting a young signal caller he and Paton blew a huge wad on Wilson. In essence, Hackett wound up being the head coaching version of David Tepper. It's a reminder that coaching hires, just like quarterback draft picks, are unpredictable.

Watching Zach Wilson play reminds me EXACTLY of Corral

Not a problem anymore... -
Disagree, especially given he's been working with Darnold and Walker.
-
Just please tell me he doesn't have a family member negotiating his contract
-
i.e. smart coaching
-
He's not useless. Hell, he's actually done a decent job, and clearly has some level of chemistry with Wilks. Just don't think he's good enough an OC to take the next step.

His days of being a corner are done. I'm honestly not sure they lasted as long as that monster contract did.
-
He did.

But will they be able to attract a good coach with the team inextricably tied to Wilson?
