...and it's not who you'd expect. From the article... I did an impromptu poll with four NFL scouts I trust, and three of them told me he was the best quarterback in the draft. One NFC scout told me, “This [season] is an audition for him to go to a poor NFL team. He proved he can take a beating and keep getting up.” Added another NFC scout: “It is a miracle that he keeps playing every week after all of the hits he takes. He is more banged up than people think — much more.” ... Levis has all of the tools NFL teams look for. He has the arm, size, toughness, intelligence and enough athletic ability. He runs an NFL offense at Kentucky and can manage a huddle, which many people discount. When studying Levis, there are some ugly games; that has been the history of Kentucky football. As an evaluator, you have to look at what surrounds the quarterback and who they are playing week in and week out. ... Almost every time Levis steps on the field his teammates are inferior to the ones on the other team, which is a big deal. If you are the quarterback at Alabama you are protected by future NFL offensive linemen, you are throwing to future first-round draft picks and you are handing off to NFL-type running backs. ... I have been in NFL draft rooms where the discussion around a quarterback from a top-5 school is seen as a negative because they never get hit and never feel stress. An NFL game is all stress and conflict. Levis will be more prepared for the NFL than if he played for Alabama, Ohio State or Clemson.

Can't go for that one...no.

Where the hell did you get the idea that people want to get rid of Campen? The vast majority of this board is praying we keep him.

Ironic, eh?

It happens on an annual basis. Brian Daboll, for example, had multiple interviews last offseason and chose the Giants as his best option. Some coaches decline even to be interviewed. When Rhule was looking for staff, Pep Hamilton was offered an interview but turned it down...and decided to stay with the Texans. Yes, guys who have options will take the better option. Not sure why that would surprise anybody.

Can't say Matt Rhule never gave us anything, right?

Pretty much. I mean there are certainly people who don't like Baker, but I haven't heard of anybody who thinks he's fake...or just downright weird
-
I once heard that was a good way to get rid of jetlag
-
I don't think Mayfield is fake anything. He may be unlikable sometimes, but he is who he is. The stuff going on with Wilson is about way more than just his on-field performance.
-
Wilson's fall from grace this season has been borderline biblical. I know there was some discussion that we should trade for him a while back but thank God that didn't happen.

Well, he did bring music to Charlotte

Hate that. I love snow games

Nah My comment wasn't about the thread itself. Just mentioning that we had some yahoos earlier in the season posting about how you weren't a fan if you didn't support Rhule. Those guys are gone of course, but people do still continue to post dumb sh-t. The post I'm responding to here is a good example.
-
100% bullsh-t. I'm gonna assume your sh-tposting because I'd like to believe you're not this stupid, But feel free to prove me wrong. Both Joe Person and Charles Robinson have chronicled the last few years of the Panthers and both essentially wrote the same thing. When it came to the quarterback decisions, it was Rhule.

Defintely not a team looking to lose....
Mr. Scot replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Which is kinda interesting given that his dad was something of a dickhead back when he played... -
I went to Honey Cuts a couple of times when I was a lot younger (and single). Easily one of the worst haircuts I ever got, but...yeah
