  1. I don't doubt it. Once a front runner, always a front runner.
  2. He will be wearing a Kanas City jersey in like 3 weeks. Just wait.
  3. I wouldn't call this anywhere near a defining game of his career. He has the rest of this year and next to show if he is a dude or just another TMJ/Mingo clone.
  4. I am curious to see how up he gets for facing Cincy. Did he face them at his previous stops?
  5. He was the Red Rifle in Cincy. In Carolina he is the Red Rocket.
  6. I just don't think we are made to hang with them in that kind of scenario. If we win, it will be because we grind on them, shut them down defensively and dominate TOP.
  7. IDK, either we are going to win or the Bengals are going to absolutely annihilate us. I don't think we lose a close game if that scenario transpires.
  8. His being banged up is not an outlier. More RB's are like that than not. The problem is that people assume Frank Gore or Adrian Peterson is the norm. Those are outliers. My God, Barkley or even a guy like Ekeler have got banged up a bunch over the last three years too. This is the problem. This is fuging why you don't spend this fuging money on a fuging RB.
  9. It was inevitable he got injured again. That doesn't magically change when you get older. All the people simping after CMC were way less Panther fans than CMC fans. Once again, don't pay big money to a RB. This is the same for CMC or Miles Sanders.
  10. He has elite talent, I just think he lacks an elite motor and isn't an elite competitor.
  11. Yeah, I just know how I am. I quit watching MLB back in the late 90's and I never watched another MLB game. Have zero desire to ever do so again after being away for so long. Have done so with other long term hobbies, as well. Once I know that I am done, I'm done. I am not there yet. I suspect the next few years may make me re-evalute that.
  12. I don't think we need to drag a dude supporting his brother through the mud. That is pretty crazy.
  13. It would probably take a lot for me to completely quit watching. Mainly because if I did, I would never come back.
  14. I do too but those got retired a few years ago. It was due to all get replaced but the last 3 years of Tepper BS turned me off to any merch purchases. I am not 100% sure I will ever buy any merch while he is owner. TBD.
  15. I only have jerseys left. I was going to get new hoodies, hats and shirts but Tepper has caused me to boycott all new merch purchases. I basically only wear jerseys on game days if I am going to a sports bar to watch. Which, those are usually fairly rare instances as I am at work.
  16. Can you imagine being on the hook for that contract?? Woof.
  17. Oh it's a step down. It just depends on how much. Hopefully not a lot.
  18. The NIL didn't break the system. The system has always been broken. Now all the issues are laid bare because the actual players get a piece of the money above the board. The problem is that the conferences and schools are too focused on tearing each other apart and none of them care about the health of the sport. This is the difference in college and the NFL. In the NFL, you don't allow existential threats to the product. In college, they routinely work against their own self interests.
  19. Yeah, I mean it's hard to envision him being worse than Bryce was. I just don't know if it is better enough to really have mattered much. It doesn't matter. It is what it is now.
  20. I mean, he was last season too. Burrow has not ascended to "NFL protected" status. The closest we have to that is probably Mahomes.
  21. I mean, he would probably have last year. That was utter chaos.
  22. I mean, I used to have his posters on my wall in the early 90's. He was my favorite NFL player and MLB player at that time. He is an egotistical douche, though.
