Ian Thomas must have goatpics of everyone that ever comes into the organization to have survived here as long as he has. He is the ultimate JAG.

I am gonna call pretty unlikely on that first point. The 49ers have been fittingly fool's gold for the entire Shananan tenure. It's not an accident.
-
If they end up with #1 and #2, they'd be fools to not trade the #2 pick away for an even bigger haul. Especially if the QB class is as hyped as anticipated. Either way, the Bears are going to get some serious talent coming in. And we are going to get basically nothing. #Fittermagic

The offense with Bryce is getting worse every week

I mean....considering how they played against Seattle, I would say the performance by that receiving corps has remained pretty pitiful throughout. -
As long as one of those guys is willing to do that, I am all for it. Understand that it isn't likely to change that much. We spent all offseason putting a scheme in place, it's hard to change that midstream and get results quickly. Even if we did, expect more sucking to happen for the remainder of the season.

Keep in mind that the "value" of the NFL is team value. It's like any other investment, it's value isn't based on how much raw money it makes. Carolina is a small market team. There are ample areas it can go and be more valuable than it is here. How about Toronto? Mexico City? London? I wouldn't place a bet on the franchise moving from CLT but I am not foolish enough to say it couldn't happen. Tepper was a ruthless businessman, there is no reason to think he wouldn't stay ruthless as an owner.

You have a magic wand to fix our biggest problem.

I don't think Wilks was the magic fix. I think defensively we are better off with the guy we have at DC over Wilks. I do think Wilks would have not been at 0-4. -
The last two points are meaningless. They matter none. That soccer team is worth almost nothing compared to the NFL team. Miniscule value. Plus you have to considered how horned up the NFL is for Europe. They see the writing on the wall. If they don't somehow make their brand more global, the NFL is in a lot of trouble in the long term.

Well he died so we would have a different owner, regardless. -
Yeah my buddy and I are talking about just walking away entirely. There is no one to sell to. Why bother?

But do you trust Fitterer to do the right things with those picks? -

Just want to see how this goes. Curious to see what percentage of the fans see the problems in what way. My personal ranking is: 1. Tepper 2. Fitterer 3. Reich -
Yeah, I don't really see the chances of me keeping my season tickets extending past next season. There isn't a good reason to.

Which mistake would be most likely to right the ship?
-
Yeah, this is the deepest hole we have ever been in as a franchise. I compared our QB plight the last two seasons(mainly here in the Huddle) to the Cleveland Browns from 1999-2017(that could really be extended past 2017, TBH). In a side by side we haven't compared favorably to them during that long two decade stretch. This was also spurred by bad ownership. My guess is that we are probably looking at perhaps another 15-20 years of this if that trend keeps holding up.

If you re-watch either game 1 or game 2, you will see a other scenario where we stupidly burn a TO and you can see Frank say into his mic, "That’s on me." Frank is the almost sole reason this offense doesn't operate. It's time to turn it over to Thomas Brown and let him do something different. Even if he isn't ready, maybe he is capable of learning from his mistakes. Frank is and old dog. There are no new tricks he is going to learn.

I am not off the Bryce bandwagon just yet because many a first round rookie QB looks like poo in year one. That said....the red flags are mounting. But, I think as time goes on the more I am blaming Frank Reich. If you haven't noticed, most of our returning offensive players have almost all looked far worse than last season. I don't think that is an accident. Frank has zero ability to change what he does to suit the players you have. It's pretty questionable how well it would work with a lineup of very elite players. The bulk of my ire is directed at the coaching staff currently. The remaining bulk is at the front office and ownership. Those are the biggest problems we face as a franchise. Even if Bryce ends up a bust, he is a symptom of a bigger sickness.

Well Snyder made the mistake of becoming an enemy of the owners, which isn't a tenable situation. The NFL wants all the wealthiest people involved as owners, so unless Tepper really wears out his welcome, he will be the owner until he doesn't want to be or dies. We just have to hope he also doesn't move the team, as well. I don't think that is something that we shouldn't be worried about. Tepper has zero ties to this area. Even after buying the team, he still doesn't have any ties at all.
-
Yeah, Frank has to be a one year coach, IMO. He has thoroughly proven that he isn't the guy. The problem being that isn't going to send a welcoming signal to anyone trying to be the next HC. We will likely have to make someone an INSANE offer(which would piss off the other owners again) to get anyone worth a poo.

I mean....if this is playing not to lose....
-
I used to think that. I don't believe I do anymore.
-
Even if it solely wasn't the bad idea. What they did afterwards to fix the WR corps was pretty close to a disaster.
-
Yeah, I don't think any of us would be happy about watching them have two top 5 picks.
-
I mean, this scheme is trash but he has plenty of time to throw. He isn't the sole problem but he isn't the best QB on this roster at the moment. Not trying to throw shade because Bryce was my guy in the draft but it is true.
