  1. And I am reticent to get tied to a lot of expensive and potentially scheme dependent players for a DC that is likely to be gone VERY soon and a HC likely to be gone in the next couple of seasons.
  2. If we didn't have questionable people at the helm, this is a great draft to acquire MORE 2nd and 3rd round picks. But....Panthers.
  3. TBH, I would rather just get more top 90 picks from them for that swap. We get far better than DK Metcf being added with competent drafting and more resources(I know, I know, we haven't seen any competent drafting in years). I think that also depends on if Seattle opts to go free agency for a QB. I will say, it would be a pretty strange move to deconstruct the offense like that in year two of a young HC.
  4. There have been a couple of articles saying we will be aggressive, so I would expect splashes early. I think it's just a matter of how much we are willing to overpay for our prime targets. Sadly, I don't think you will see any "splash" signing without a price tag that is going to upset most of the fanbase. It's just purely shitbox franchise economics. We aren't the only awful franchise that free agents take advantage of for a massive payday.
  5. I think a lot depends on how the FA options shake out. Vegas was a team that a lot had tied to drafting a QB and they went and got the best QB option available, not that anyone really knew it was an option, rather than attempt a move up. So it's gonna be about who thinks of those two rookie options is "the guy." IMO, purely speculation, but I think Giants go veteran. Namely because Daboll is on the hot seat. Rookie QB is typically not a good idea for a hot seat coach.
  6. I would say that you should also remember that this there are some attractive options at DE/EDGE in free agency/trade now. Keep an eye on them to see if they also make a FA move/trade to address it like Vegas did with Geno. If that doesn't happen, I think that is likely telegraphing the Carter move.
  7. Wonder if Vegas made the Geno move as a sign they don't expect to see Ward/Sanders or as a general vote of no confidence in them as prospects? The offseason is getting pretty spicy already.
  8. Howell starting would be a very obvious tank move. It's strange for a HC to be down with a full tank in year two. I am skeptical about that. I think maybe they recognized that Geno was basically a 10-15 ranked QB that was likely still going to command a significant price. The QB market has some interesting options too. Washed former greats(Rodgers, Wilson, Cousins), draft QB's that no one is super excited about and some potentially attractive reclaimation projects for the completely delusional(Darnold, Fields).
  9. Well now Seattle could need to move up, as well.
  10. Garrett trade would likely be post-June 1st, which means a lot of needy teams will make their plans at DE. Sounds like Cleveland is pretty head-in-the-sand about the situation, so I suspect a TC holdout that goes into the season, ultimately leading to Garrett going for substantially less than Cleveland could probably get now.
  11. Been all over Texass. Beautiful state completely ruined by the arrogant, retarded Texans.
  12. WTF. Who the fug had this on their bingo card??
  13. So many pass rushing options. Sign one and draft one
  14. It is a very weak center class unlike last season when we passed on a 10 year starting center.
  15. I generally don't think there is a top 10 caliber TE. I feel the same about DE/EDGE. However, those are both insanely deep positions that I absolutely want to draft in this class.
  16. I am fine taking a real BPA. TBH, I don't trust a Panthers BPA.
  17. Anyone who has spent any considerable time in Texass knows how much it sucks.
  18. True. It sucks but keep grinding and play hard. Find out what you have to build with for this big offseason
  19. The trying is nice but this is two straight failures.
  20. Minus the above average FA class(you are forgetting a LOT of whiffs, BTW) his draft was prime Fitterer. I would say after year one he is worse than both Gettleman and Hurney. But, super small sample size. Maybe it will get better. We better fuging hope it does....
  21. It ain't luck. He has an eye for talent. In fairness, it isn't like he didn't take players plenty of people here weren't pounding the table for(Carter, Mitchell, etc). He just gets good players.
  22. Locker room cancer, so glad he is gone. This was a way bigger blunder than Guentzel.
  23. This would be a very good idea. Shorter term, lower pick. Would prefer to 2026 3rd and maybe a 4th this year.
