  1. Didn't they nix trading coaches for picks or am I crazy?
  2. I tried making a bet on him. He didn't respond.
  3. I wasn't down on that QB class, actually. This is the time I agree with the bobbleheads and the scouting community, this class is bad. Doesn't mean that a guy might not succeed but you are gonna see quite a few players that don't ever get a second NFL contract.
  4. You are also mainly saying that because you are trying to defend your boy. This is a bad class.
  5. I think the Eagles are betting on the Saints being trash and 2023 draft being better.
  6. Tyler was on the cover of Q1 2022 issue, FWIW.
  7. Pretty stunned you are at 70%. If there is anyone who has proven how dumb they are, it's David Tepper.
  8. I think the chances of someone wanting to trade up with also be if a player drops to us that we should probably take instead of moving down
  9. No one in the NFL is serious about Kaepernick anymore. Regardless of how good(or bad) he was viewed as a player and regardless of his political stance, he has not taken an NFL snap since 2016. He does not have a future in the NFL as a player.
  10. I don't think they are shrewd enough to smokescreen effectively. I do think they would like to trade back but I am betting they find that harder to pull off than they want. Just a few weeks from finding out.
  11. Yeah. I think we go QB here, which is a definite improvement on positional value. The fact that it is likely to be in one of the worst QB drafts in the past few years shows that even when making a better decision, we still manage to fug it up.
  12. Yeah, I don't see any chance we are starting Darnold in game 1. They will make a trade or draft a player.
  13. One day I'd like to be one of those teams at the bottom of a first round because of consistent success. It just won't be anytime soon.
  14. Yeah, contracts are rarely looked at by fans when they think positional value. Good example being the classic anti-RB argument. Any RB in the top 10 is typically immediately a top 5-10 paid player at their position. That's a really high bar to hit to be considered a success. Agreed on how safe the pick is. I like Linderbaum a lot but taking him that high is a huge risk. You just can't afford to miss on top 10 draft picks. It still sucks if you miss on a later first round draft pick but it's not the same as being offered a chance to take one of the top 10 players in any given draft.
  15. There isn't much chance of that happening. I don't feel particularly bad for Ron because it isn't like Snyder wasn't a known scumbag before he took that position.
  16. Yeah, I mean is there anyone who can list something considered a strength that Darnold does? I can't think of any. He will go down in Panthers history as one of the biggest franchise blunders, if he plays here in 2022 or not.
  17. Yeah, if this is true he's gone as an owner. The NFL and the other owners aren't going to tolerate being cheated.
  18. Yeah, I like Linderbaum but this talk of taking a C at 6 were nuts. If you miss on that pick, it's basically one of those ones that you never live down. Not to mention your guy is now one of the highest paid centers in the NFL.
