  1. I think Sanders has a very good shot at being a middle of the pack or slightly above NFL starter for a long time. Ward it just depends on what end of the gunslinger scale he falls on. Is he on the Favre/Winston end or the Mayfield/Stafford end?
  2. He doesn't have a no trade clause to my knowledge. But if he wants to go to a contender, that aint us.
  3. I think he is one of the better coaches in the NFL over his coaching career. Likely top 10. Most of his "average" seasons would in top 10 of Panthers history. I think people really have a distorted view of a franchise with a total of 7 total winning seasons in 30 years of existence. Now all of those 7 are double digit win seasons, so let's compare to Pete Carroll's NFL career. In 18 years as an NFL head coach, he has had 9 double digit win seasons and 13 total winning seasons. You want Super Bowls? We went 0-2 in 30 seasons and he went 1-1 in his 18. Again....I have zero idea how anyone could make this comparison with a straight face or without a massive influx of drugs. What "mediocre" coach do you want to pick next to compare our franchise to? Andy Reid? Bill Belichick? Mike Tomlin? John Harbaugh?
  4. He got a massive bag from Texass to stay and the rest has been history. I will say that if he doesn't look like a Heisman candidate next season, you cam go ahead and raise that "future bust" flag all the way to the top of the pole.
  5. So, after the Super Bowl loss the Seahawks went 87-59-1 in 9 seasons, with 8 winning seasons and 5 playoff appearances. Under Tepper we have gone 36-80, with 0 winning seasons and 0 playoff appearances. I really don't think you have a firm grasp of the phrase "marginally better." Those results would quite literally result in statue outside the stadium in Carolina. I will never understand basically anyone shitting on Pete Carroll and doing it in the context of the Panthers nor their current and former head coaches. We have never had anyone in the same argument as Pete Carroll, who will literally most likely be a HOF coach. That's one of the most lightspeed insane takes I have ever seen here.
  6. It is one of the wildest things I have ever seen.
  7. Losing record at the NYJ, better overall record with the Pats than Parcells(no seasons sub .500), .606 winning percentage with Seattle and a Superbowl, two NC's at USC and a 97-19 record. He has literally won everywhere but the NYJ.
  8. I think that's possible but the odds of any of those QB's outside Ward/Sanders being more than backups is very, very low IMO. Worst class since 2022.
  9. The difference is that Pete has been successful at literally every stop. Ron hasn't.
  10. I know nothing of the details of that incident but you can catch this charge by simply placing your hand/hands on someone's throat. Most states consider this a felony.
  11. I probably wouldn't look at QB's in this class outside the 6th or 7th round.
  12. Dart is basically a 3rd string guy, IMO. I don't think he has what it takes to be an effective #2 QB in the NFL.
  13. I would actually bet on sneaky Pete being more successful in LV than Seattle being with the moves they are making under their HC.
  14. Ward and Sanders are really mid first to mid second round guys in a stronger class. But, by that same token, a lot of the guys mocked in the top 10 at the moment might late first rounders in a stronger year.
  15. Fair enough. Former tier 2 NFL QB(right behind the elite guys). He spent a chunk of his career as a top 10-12 QB.
  16. I mean....someone is going to have to explain the generational prospect part for a guy that spent a LOT of time on the pine behind a projected 4th-5th round pick.
  17. If they want to tank, I guess. Again, it would be a strange move for a 2nd year HC. Thunderrun to number 1 for the Manning kid(maybe the most overrated prospect in my lifetime)?
  18. I would say they are probably more screwed if they end up with a rookie QB. That poo only lasts about a season and then your "but, but, but I had a rookie QB!" argument goes away forever. It might buy them a season, at most.
  19. And I am reticent to get tied to a lot of expensive and potentially scheme dependent players for a DC that is likely to be gone VERY soon and a HC likely to be gone in the next couple of seasons.
