  2. Panthers placed LB Trevin Wallace (shoulder) on injured reserve. With no playoffs on tap for the Panthers, it ends the rookie’s season. The 72nd overall pick in the draft had started to come on lately as a pass rusher, notching four straight PFF grades above 66 in the category before leaving Week 15’s game with the injury. The coverage linebacker will probably be in Carolina’s plans in the middle for 2025.

  5. Per PFF Cowboys DI Osa Odighizuwa Odighizuwa was a menace up front for the Cowboys in their win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, earning a 91.6 PFF pass-rush grade on the day. From 33 pass-rushing snaps, he racked up a sack, three quarterback hits and two hurries.
  6. You can clearly see the entire team took a step back this week. Specifically, Cade Mays and Ikey were exposed by having to pass protect every snap, and having to go up against Micah Parsons and some very talented pass rushers.

  13. "I think he's really playing in a good rhythm in the pass game, but I think the biggest thing is extended plays. The scramble, he's done a really good job in the playmaking. He pretty much almost won the Philadelphia game himself during that last series… it's been real, real impressive with his poise and the way he's maximizing each snap in the passing game." - Mike McCarthy
