  1. Doesn’t clear him from facing a suspension from the NFL. Not to mention the asking price just increased…
  2. Don’t forget Cam, of all three he was the only winless… technically speaking.
  3. It actually helps us, both the Seahawks and the Colts have extra capital to trade up. Or at least it’s a wash, what’s your point?
  4. If his job is in jeopardy, he’s going to have limitations with spending future capital. If we trade future assets for another QB, then Tepper is running the show.
  5. https://tarheeltribune.com/2022/03/08/reports-link-trubisky-to-giants-where-hed-compete-ex-duke-qb-jones/
  6. I agree, I can’t think of anything spectacular play that makes you say wow.
  7. If you’re picking at six, your team sucks. You definitely don’t trade down and not address the OL with the first pick.
  8. Willis began his career at Auburn and couldn’t become the starter. The competition on the defensive side is the offensive equivalent.
  9. “San Jose State was Carson Strong’s most difficult game of the year, both statistically and from a toughness standpoint. The Nevada quarterback was sacked three times in that game as he completed 36-of-54 passing attempts for 314 passing yards with one touchdown and two interceptions.”
  10. Maybe you should pick one up? There’s over 170,000 words listed, some have different meanings. Look up pompous, presumptuous and smug… they should all sound familiar.
  11. Yeah, high turnover rate on the coaching staff, definitely shows that Rhule is under the heat. It really makes me wonder if he thinks this roster is a QB away. If that’s the case, we’re definitely in a world of sh1t…
  12. TBH, I think Rhule is on very thin ice. I don’t think anyone knows the amount of control he has with player personnel, but he is definitely on a short leash. He’s pretty much stuck with Sam as the starter because of the capital invested. I think Tepper knows that drafting a QB at 6, sets you back 2 more years. This draft is really deep at OL, for once, I’d like to see us trade back, acquire some picks and build an OL.
  13. His target was Lance, there’s no way he gives up that much future draft capital for a specific target and then change his mind.
  14. I don’t think he picks any QB because… 1) Cam was released with 1 year left on his contract. 2) Signed Teddy to a 3 year 63 million contract. Then traded him for a 6th pick and eat a majority of his remaining contract. 3) Traded for Sam and picked up his fifth year option. 4) Resigned PJ. So basically he made his bed with Sam, drafting a QB at 6 would be like admitting failure.
  15. In other words, Zach Wilson and Trey Lance were highly overrated.
