Trai Turner was round 3. Andrew Norwell was UDFA. Two of our best guards of the past decade.

Here’s a little nugget for your Friday. The Stanford double-dip.

So was Kyle Allen. I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin. -
I'm all for it. We are a safety away from being set ag defense for the next 5 years.

Ho-lee-poo This guy thinks the Panthers play off the line of scrimmage and give receivers a ton of cushion because they want to. Hint: that was the only choice they had given the lack of talent. They drafted Horn so they would not have to. Lol

We had a few thousand people on at the same time. Pretty decent night.

I'd love to draft a guy named Creed. Think of all the jokes -
Mutual respect here. Gonne be a hell of a battle the next several years.

You mean he would not have drafted Gaulden? lol

You glorious son of a bitch, you did it. You took the brunt of the busiest night in years without a hiccup. Post your love and admiration here.

We didn't have a single corner that could play press coverage. That puts the defense in a very awkward position.

Your reaction would be?

That's the word from within. -
Not really. Many outlets had him as the top corner. Surtain had the better and more recognizable name, thats all.

They overachieved early last season and looked pretty darn good with little talent. Now inject CMC, a marginally better QB maybe, and a much improved defense. This could be a winning season. That isn't far fetched.- 127 replies

I wouldn't be mad. We are a safety away from being a very good defense this season.

I give it a grade of an Arby's roast beef sammich. Probably not your first choice for lunch today, but you will be happy with it in the long run.

For us, yes. Not on the national stage.

Brian Burns will benefit the most from Jaycee Horn being on the team. Go back and watch how many times Burns came within a fraction of a second from getting a sack only to have a receiver get open and the ball thrown. It would not shock me to see Burns have 14 sacks and a pro bowl appearance this season.

Tepper wanted Justin Fields for business reasons. Instant injection of excitement and jersey sales. Ticket and concession sales galore. Tepper.is a money guy, and Fields is where the money was. Apparently, football reasons trump money reasons in this franchise. Having a true shutdown corner won't sell many jerseys or beers initially, but in the long run may contribute to a winning franchise.

GM Scott Fitterer on CB Jaycee Horn: "We like his ability to step on the field and start Day 1."
