Panthers Mini Camp Observations - June 17
OnlyPantherFaninMaine replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Reportedly showed up to OTAs 8-9 lbs overweight according to Rivera and Jones of the Charlotte Observer. That can't help the problem.- 25 replies

Never mind, Mathis would now be a FA. Doesn't go through waivers. Go get em' Dave. -

Come on back to Charlotte, Evan! Unfortunately the Bucs will pick him up on the waiver wire. -
Big Frank is in the Dominican Republic

On another note, I'm really thinking Kawann is Carolina's break out player of the year. We need Star and KK to take the next step together as a unit. I'm expecting big things out of those two. -
Portland, Maine. Actual neighborhood I grew up about 15 minutes away from downtown Portland.

Luck has also greatly benefitted from playing in a terrible division with no other quarterbacks to note since entering the league. Luck is 16-2 against his division since entering the league. The offenses in Houston, Tennessee, and Jax simply can't keep up with the Colts' offense because none of them until this season even have any promise or talent at the position. He's barely over .500 against non-AFCS teams since entering the league.

Is this the game where Rivera called that atrocious timeout before the half that allowed the Saints to get a FG off that ultimately decided the game?

Enjoy your first game in Charlotte! Mine was truly special. Unbelievable walking into the stadium for first time after being a fan for 20 years. I've now seen them play in Charlotte, New England, New York, San Diego, Arizona, and Baltimore. Want to hit a new stadium this season... maybe Dallas on Thanksgiving with my best friend who is a Cowboy fan. I need a new best friend.

Maine doesn't have any professional teams in any sport and my Dad is a Colts fan so being a Patriots fan wasn't an option. New England caused lots of pain in my household growing up between our Super Bowl with them and all the AFC title games between the Colts and Patriots. No Cam Gatorades for me but there are quite a few Panther fans on this board from up North.

I'm 25. Born in 1990 and have been a Panther fan since 95'. I was a new fan of the game and they were a new team. As a 5 year old I picked them for the logo and color scheme and have stuck with them ever since. Being a fan of a team in another region hasn't been easy. I remember "watching" entire games on ESPN Gamecast because there was no such thing as Red Zone or Sunday Ticket. Age 5 or 6 here rocking a Panther t-shirt. My bowl cut was the GOAT.

Would have loved to see this match-up with Bayern at full-strength. Shame they have had to deal with this many injuries to key defenders and attacking wingers.
