Precisely. We are two/three years past-due putting talent around Cam. It's the number one priority. Gettleman has drafted for need in the first round since he has been here. I suspect that trend continues and we take a tackle or receiver in the first again.

We do have needs at safety, no doubt. But at least we have the talent in front of them to mask some of their deficiencies. Harper isn't great but he's good enough for another year even though I hope we snag another safety in the first three rounds. I'd rather have Harper and Boston back there getting help from the other 9 starters than Oher on an island at LT.

Both tackle and WR are definitely holes right now. We have bodies there, sure, but holes nonetheless. We have a fringe/potential #1 receiver, and a bunch of guys that would be four or fives on the majority of rosters in this league. At tackle, we have an unknown in Remmers that played admirably at RT but no one knows how he will develop and if he is a long-term solution. Oher has been trending down for years and is not a solution to our woes at LT. David Foucault is just a guy and that's about it. Tackle and receiver are still the biggest holes on this team.

Rather we get someone with more upside, speed, and no injury concerns in the 1st or second round of the draft.

@RapSheet: The #Browns assigned free safety Tashaun Gipson a second-round RFA tender. With a shallow draft pool, wonder if someone will bite.

Even with this signing, OT is still very high on our list of needs. Hoping we still take one in the first couple rounds of the draft.

Bulaga. He has played RT in Green Bay but he's an automatic upgrade over what we have had at left tackle. He could be the only person we get in FA and I'd be happy.

If you look at the total list of players we have met with, the majority are CBs. Mostly mid-late round guys.
