The team basically getting hot hitting 3s all day last season seriously masks how bad Carolina was before the Duke game last season. They can be the best team in the nation but they have to play to their strengths and stop playing without any real offensive sets. They are so crazy streaky because they aren’t playing smart basketball. Frustrating to the point I considered not watching this game

I hate to be so cynical about the Hornets but we have been irrelevant for a long time now. Outside of getting the #1 pick in the lottery or an absolute steal in a trade we aren’t going to win big here. I don’t like the coach either. We are just a meh franchise and it won’t change without a miracle

The absolute best case scenario would be to get CJ or Young at 5. Probably won’t be there but if Levis goes top 2 then…maybe. Getting to 5 probably doesn’t even require next years first which would be ideal.

I agree, I don’t see any way we can get into the top two outside of making 2 trades, to first get to 3 and then trade to 1. Very doubtful. The best we can probably do is #3 but remains to be seen if Zona would be willing to move down to 9.

No one knows what they are thinking. Other reports are saying CJ Stroud is the “Apple” of our eye. Even if they did prefer one of these guys they are at the mercy of teams ahead of us in the draft. I would really like to see the Raiders sign a QB in FA to get them out of the QB market in he draft.

I am hoping we move up and spend mostly draft picks this year. On Kiper’s podcast he mentioned talking with GMs that he was hearing a lot of talk on how this is a weak draft overall. Again I hope we move up and get really lucky with Levis going top 2 and Bryce or CJ dropping.
