  1. I mean, Bryce Young is literally in an offense that is constructed to be about the deep ball. He just is bad at it and it goes against he how naturally plays/skill set. It's also why his completion % is garbage every year and why he leads the NFL in bad throw % since arriving. He doesn't fit the O scheme and what it asks. The offensive scheme requires it. It would be like putting rookie Cam in some small ball O and saying the stats back he likes doing that. It would have gone against everything he was at that time. It was his worst ball. But Bryce Young doesn't like it nor is he good at it. No one that watches Bryce Young play football would actually say he wants to go downfield with the ball and that his thing.....that some deep stat narrative that gets pushed. It's why he went 0-4 on basically easy deep shots Sunday. Big time throws can be a 5 yards slant. It's bologna. And PFF would award Bryce as the best deep passer going 1/4 over some dude chucking it for multiple scores.
  2. 3 posts on Evero in the last 30 days? It’s pages and pages and pages and pages and pages of posts if you search up Evero in the last 30 days
  3. I didn’t bring up the Dalton win. Someone used it as an example of the D still be bad no matter what. But in reality, it is an example of them being less bad than they averaged on the year. Because it was a game with offense and possession of the ball. If there were more games like that the D likely isn’t historically bad and just bad. Just the math of keeping them off the field
  4. Well, sure they are a bad defense. but you brought up the one Dalton win. And it merely is an example of the most passing yards on the season (again it happens when Bryce isnt on the field on every season to date with a washed Dalton)…..and the D allowed less pts and yards than they averaged on the year. Offense keeps all variety of defenses, in our case bad, off the field. I don’t want Bryce to be Cam. I want him to at what bare bones behind the most expensive OL in the NFL….generate average offensive production
  5. Well, that Dalton game produced the most passing yardage on the year. And the D coincidentally allowed less yards and points than they averaged on the year. Probably because it resulted in the best TOP all year….offense keeps a bad D off the field
  6. I think league wide, there just aren’t a lot of TEs where that’s a high % play. Are there even 10 really good rec TEs in the entire NFL right now? Might be but you would probably have to really think about it. Just seems like a tough ask to count as a should be. PFF counts it as a straight up drop.
  7. Huddler A: hey, this D stinks Huddler B : I mean, yeah, it does. I think people just agree. Weak talent, weak coach. It’s gonna be bad this year. Everything has been dumped into the O. And it’s bottom of the league. if we had the most expensive DL in the entire NFL and had spent the last 3 first round picks to go along with that DL….people would be raging about it more
  8. Patterson was a great football player. Bad WR. We see that a lot on defense and at WR. XL can still be of value if we had a good staff.
  9. You explain how Renfrow gets his grade in the what if the other guy actually did his job world of PFF? That ball to TE Saunders is a very difficult ball. Thats not a gimme that’s supposed to get logged like the XL foot down ball. It wasn’t a 50/50 im the sense 2 guys were going up for the same ball. It’s just a low % play. A TE gonna collect that type ball maybe half the time.
  10. Oh and the PFF brainiacs were breaking down the upcoming game. Dude said if there is one thing we know about Bryce Young…..he wants to throw the ball downfield wut? I think they must have let AI takeover their work or some poo. It doesn’t sound like they watch Bryce Young. Who would describe Bryce like that lol
  11. If BY is higher than he should be, it means the WRs are lower The negative exists, so if they don’t give it to BY it all gets pushed onto others. PFF seems to apply unique QB logic that extends nowhere else. Well, what if Saunders caught a 50/50 ball that he didn’t? Well that would be awesome for Bryce if it did happen so he gets a great grade on that incompletion. But Saunders gets knocked big. A WR like Renfrow. What if his QB threw good balls….well Renfrow would have had a great day but nothing happened. Renfrow is graded as one of the worst in the NFL lol
  12. I’m not sure the Cards have it in them to blow us out unless Bryce were to just gift that to them. Gotta assume Canales will have an even more conservative plan that mirrors something like last seasons.
  13. There is a pretty long list of Panthers that have always been universally loved though.
  14. really makes you go back and rethink the preseason and that talk. We know for the second year in a row Dave worked his young and not very good starters very light.....they looked awful in preseason and it carried through to week 1. 2 years in a row. this year, Dave was really big on everyone that isn't the OC playcaller and DC playcaller needed work in the preseason......more than the actual playcallers. that's not a good look at for the HC. Really looks like the HC isn't up for this rodeo. every moaning about Corbett's snaps. Every snap is going down as the 1 second hits the 0 mark. That's not bad snapping. That's a C desperately trying to avoid penalties (and narrowly avoiding it almost every down often to the millisecond) for the offense because the O isn't running right. I think folks should re-evaluate the Corbett bashing a little.
  15. I still want to know how these guys survived the Frank era. Dom can't even look in the mirror at this point and notice things that need fixing.
  16. we beat AZ last year on the back of one man. Hubbard. Somehow that is used as one of the games that meant Bryce had turned a corner to being good. WRs had 90 yards on the day as a collective group.
  17. lol I know the multiple turnover day and 70 yards passing mid 4th quarter looked bad while getting blown out by a weak Jags team……but once those late garbage numbers dropped into the spreadsheet it wasn’t that bad
  18. Yeah, expect those opportunities to be gone next week. Those little wheels he ran were money Sunday and we got nothing out of it. That would be the first thing if I am AZ I make sure I got a handle on.
  19. This would be an interesting one. Jake Delhomme would be a real tough competitor. I can’t count how many times I yelled….NNNNOOOOOOOoooooo what are you do…..oh I mean, heck yeah. Nice one 89. Good job Jake. 89 double or tripled covered downfield seemed to be a good idea after the ball came down lol
  20. Well I 100% agree you deep dive for any player and create almost any narrative/argument. Thats why at the end of the day, your take when the clock strikes zero is largely the most solid IMO. Was TMac good? Yes. Was XL bad? Yes. The I need to watch the tape first mentality and check out the analytics sites to form an opinion…..gets real squirrely.
  21. Feels about right. Syncs up. XL being horrible doesn’t give him a multiplier. On WRs - no foot down - 4th and 1 - you pick on Bryce -opening over throw - under throw to Renfrow -pushed out of bounds to Renfrow - hospital ball to Renfrow - underthrow to TMac - INT to the S On nobody - Saunders 50/50 - TMac in the endzone That’s 11 of them. Not sure what I would do with the Dowdle ball. Can’t remember the others off the top

But everyone who watched the game generally felt the same way. You did. Did you go back and watch the all-22 for Trevor? Because if your intent to is to go back and figure out why he wasn't better than he was..... you can simply find ways the team didn't help him as much as they could of.....with ease. Any QB. It's now the 3 straight season openers of explaining away why Bryce wasn't as horrific as it seems. My days of doing the Dwyane Jarrett defense are long over ( I used to be that dude). I mean, I just don't get what folks are doing at this point with him. I have rewatched. I have rewatched others also rewatching with their takes on it all too. It's Bryce. Hyper fixating on a play that you rewatch a hundred times to build the case for the 3rd straight opener of why he doesn't stink as bad as he stunk? Yeah, it's just Bryce. You really won't need to watch the all-22 in his next stinker to know it's Bryce....when you figure that out on Sunday already.
  23. 3rd straight openers of horrific football featuring Bryce. and if the games weren't dated....I bet someone unfamiliar with Bryce/us couldn't figure out which one was his rookie season just off the 3 openers.
  24. Give me PJ Walker chucking bombs like the DJ Moore one if we got to lose....over the last 2+ years version of losing. the highlight/peak Sunday was bascially check out this 10 yard slant! Guy in the video brought that up as well. The good/highlights w/ Bryce is generally sort of the NFL mundane/expectation.

    WR drops

If you think someone shared some bad data on PFF (and is falsely slandering your PFF) well....then you post the QB rankings and show where that 71.5 stacks up week 1 vs the field. I don't pay for PFF and won't. I just go off of what others say on PFF.
