  1. they say lots of things. They often say them because they want to set the narrative and how things are viewed. No one ever says the owner made me in real time for example. Even when that is the case. They will address those things in real time by saying spewing a bunch of bologna. You "know" what Frank said based on what the Panthers wanted to you to think and know. Owners often dictate realities. It's always spun that they didn't. Frank had that in Indy too. In real time, the Colts set a narrative of what they wanted fans to think. Reality, many things were just demands the owner sold as TOTALLY Frank's idea
  2. seems like just the other week, I was telling you I thought it was Tepper that directed Frank about how the staff had to look and be. Frank didn't come in here and hire the staff as he thought it should be structured and who was hired. everything has a been a forced bad marriage on so many levels. Coaches, to players to scheme. Just a bunch of random parts.
  3. See, I don’t even view him as a versatile pass rusher. The more I watch dudes like Crosby and the likes….the more one dimensional Burns looks in his pass rushing. Got guys like Trent Williams talking about the deep bag of tricks guys like Crosby have…Burns seems overly dependent on that outside speed rush. And without pressure up the middle Burns becomes invisible as a result.
  4. FSU likely isn’t one of the top 4 best teams. But you had to put them in. You simply can’t exclude an undefeated power 5 team for a bunch of 1 loss teams. That is the committee imploring too much subjectivity….and in a year where the other power 5 conferences weren’t even that great vs prior years.
  5. Marty was flat out better. Marty always had good things to hang his hat on. Marty flat out drafted some dominant players. Not even close if you look and compare Marty 3 years into the role here. Marty was dare I say….good….in that early window overall.
  6. I’m sticking with my prediction he ends up walking for nothing….just like Peppers
  7. Evero is a good DC. Some of it is just Burns. While he is largely a one dimensional edge player…..even his strength gets too predictable and one dimensional in his pass rushing. I’d love to have him if I had great inside pressure. But without great inside pressure Burns shows his limitations. It’s not the opposing DE IMO he needs the most. It’s DT play to push the QB back….because Burns is over reliant on the speed rush outside and gets pushed back behind the QB.
  8. Problem is we are poorly managed… we also have almost zero upper end talent. trading him will also highlight how bad the front office handled Burns (because it will highlight how dumb they were and how poorly managed the asset….and these people know everyone views them as idiots already) we aren’t out of the woods on a horrific deal being made still
  9. pitch counts are normal. He should of been on one. But a pitch counts allows you to play the entire game essentially with sporadic work. When was Horn's last rep? What was his rep distribution. I just don't think this is horrific slander and a bad job by the reporter. They ended up sitting him for some reason. Who knows what was. I got no clue. Could of been something Horn reported to them and they were being cautious. Might as well. These games don't matter. But the coaches flat out decided he needed to be done.
  10. Scott Fitterer: good news! We got 7 7th round picks now!!!
  11. we got Gamecock fans advocating for a dude that went 0-2 vs the ACC this year....and finished the season looking like a bad Bryce Young in the NFL. All Spencer Rattler would do is sit behind Bryce Young. We definitely don't need to waste the 33rd pick in the draft on that. A good GM should be able to draft legit offensive skill talent there.
  12. we can't afford to water down our picks. Draft BPA on offense in the 2nd. It will essentially be on par with a low end 1st round pick
  13. BPA of offensive players. Heck, I would have a reverse Gettlemen draft. Nothing but that.
  14. 50%, 112 yards and an INT. That's how Rattler ended his college career. Not really interested in an SEC QB who went 0-2 vs the ACC and couldn't even muster a TD this year.
  15. that's not a how a traditional pitch count works though, is it? I mean, you don't just log all your reps at the start and then miss the rest of the game. That's not a traditional pitch count. It sets you up to play the entire game in a limited capacity.
  16. Winston could at least randomly throw for 400 yards or have like a 5 TD afternoon. Even he can offer some false hope. It’s basically what has kept him employed. That you might catch that random good day if he was ever called upon.
  17. Minshew has had some wow plays in his career. Hell, PJ Walker even managed one. Bryce Young looks like a UDFA and we are 3 QB injuries in on the season. I know he is in a bad scenario. But he doesn’t have the tools.
  18. Saying someone had a disappointing year doesn’t make them comparable to Bryce. Peyton Manning also rewrote the rookie record book while disappointing. He still showed potential and reason to excited. And he was a lab built NFL QB. Trevor Lawerence’s starting WR is depth for Bryce Young. Bryce’s skill talent is weak and yet better than Trevors. His NFL debut was a 300 + yard game. And he was a lab built NFL QB. Burrow probably had the worst OL in the NFL and still went for 300+ in half his games. And he was a lab built NFL QB Bryce Young doesn’t have an elite NFL skill set like everyone else listed. It stands out. He has no special ability. He has provided no hope.
  19. Cam’s arm was stronger. It just didn’t work right. Does Bryce have a stronger arm than anyone in Panther history. I need to go watch some old Clausen.
  20. Nah… PJ Walker has a better NFL skill set than Bryce Young and a higher ceiling. PJ just doesn’t have it between the ears.
  21. And I forgot to add, Fitt should have been fired already. It won’t change anything this year but it’s the principal of it. No one is more deserving of getting fired. Worst roster in franchise history.
  22. Hubbard is easily the best offensive player we have. And that’s not compliment of him.
  23. Thomas Brown and called a grand total of 4 games. Reports are all but 1 were micromanaged by Frank. He hasn’t even called preseason games. He isn’t supposed to be good. Especially situationally. *and you can’t reinvent the wheel in the NFL in a week….bulk of what he has at his disposal today and in the bank is the poo Frank O this team has learned and knows.
