It's true but safeties always slide, always. The top of the third is prime starting safety territory.
-
Amos or Ersery are all I have left as value picks. Then it's all third round talent IMHO.
-
Only problem is most of that list is third round talent.
-
It's who I thought would fall to us. However, stacking offense again won't help a historically bad defense.
-
No shot Trey Amos makes it to us.
-
Will Johnson's knee and Mike Green's sexpest habits are going to cost us a valuable defensive player.
-
That knee cannot be pretty.
-
Aw, -1 EDGE. My favorite 'safe' EDGE pick that was going to fall to us.
-
Counting Will Johnson's shredded knee, I have 4 value players left, 3 on defense. And then 3 EDGE that I would be fine taking, but I wouldn't say they fell or anything. They're just okay prospects.
-
He's way too stiff. Waste of a second-round pick.
-
Kiper on life support.

I mean, it's what I expected. Deepest position groups are defense, teams will select defense. If we stay put, I would expect a tackle or center or tight end or receiver to slide to us. However, I don't want a tight end or receiver, and don't think a center would be that valuable.

I also wouldn't be mad if we took Trey Amos. -

Anyone have the ESPN feed of him being drafted? I haven't seen it. -

Probably the last well-rounded guy we have a chance at this draft. I like Umanmeilen, but he's more of a specialist. Basically, I see him as what everyone accused Burns of being but worse. -
This is what I need to hear. I can get over taking a different type of receiver top 10. He undoubtably has elite catching ability, balance, and fluidity for all his knocks that typically you don't want to see being drafted so high. But the attitude and body language were killing me because it's so easy to fake it.

It will probably take our third to move up for Ezeiruaku, but could definitely be worth it. -
It's who I want, but it'll take our third round pick. Don't you think?

Feel like they're going to trade up. They have enough picks and they really need more talent on defense. Ezeiruaku if they trade up more to the top of the round. Umanmeilen if they just want to move up a handful of picks. I don't think either will naturally slide to us. Teams know our needs and understand they'll need to jump us if someone slides. -
It would basically just be Jared Wilson.
-
Corners I think will go well before our pick. Tight ends and wide receivers I don't value highly in the second round, because they bust at an absurd rate. But yeah, if the Panthers want, they can probably take a 'value' pick at receiver or tight end or center. Ersery would be the actual value if he falls to us. However, it isn't going to help the defense.

Another monster to the Eagles.

I don't see it unless we trade up. A lot of teams are going to be running through the last few top edge and interior defensive lineman. Premium position groups that have a lot of depth this year, but they're going quick.
