It will literally break down each contract and how they are paying for them while staying under the cap, but sure you believe what you want.
-
The cap is a myth? Why haven't the Chiefs paid Chris Jones and why did they let Hill go instead of extending him to keep him with Mahomes?
-
I don't think they can afford his contract, also why would the Rams trade him? They are 1-0 also right now.
-
Trade him for Sauce straight up! Maybe Garrett Wilson too...

Jaycee Horn expected to miss multiple weeks

OK PS2 had a 92 rating for prospect from ESPN and Horn had a 91. It's wasn't some crazy ignorant reach to draft Horn over PS2. Horn was the more physical CB which is what Rhule was wanting at the time. It's next to impossible to predict some of these injuries yet the Huddle is going to play hindsight GM and redraft knowing all of this. -
Definitely makes sense, but Corbet has always played RG and LG is Zavala's natural position. It might be easier to keep Corbet where he excelled and let Zavala slide to LG when he is comfortable until then BC can hold it down.

Some positive and critical thoughts on yesterdays game

I thought we could beat the Falcons and honestly we were the better team. We just beat ourselves. I know what you are saying though this will be a year of growth and learning. -
I think he was rotating spots on the line also. https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/lists/panthers-falcons-pff-grades-week-1-bryce-young-chuba-hubbard-brian-burns-derrick-brown/ I found this which gave both him and Brown a 68 overall PFF rating. Troy Hill did great for people that like PFF. It's hit or miss to me.

Yeah he couldn’t get those 80 yards Burrow did….. -
Tinderbox movement coming.....

Bosa had a quiet game after his big payday.

His arm strength was considered average coming out of college. I remember people questioning the decision to trade for Hill because they doubted Tua could get those deep balls to him. It just shows all you need is average arm strength and good timing/rhythm to hit those deep passes. There is no reason Young can't do the same.

Burrow is listed as healthy. If he is legitimately still injured then the Bengals are dumb playing him because that could really make his injury more severe. I think he was just very rusty. He threw like 4 picks week one last year and I don’t think he was injured then. -
Oh poo… I hope Rodgers is ok. Like him or not him playing is good for the NFL.
-
2 yards short of 100 all purpose yards. That’s pretty solid coming off an injury. People are just hating on him because of the fumble.
-
Hmm I wonder if we can make BC our backup swing tackle when Corbet comes back from his injury. I could be wrong but isn’t LG Zavala’s natural position?
-
Some people are just looking at his stature and assuming that ball has less velocity than most NFL QBs and it's simply not the case. His arm strength is fine, but he is usually a touch/accuracy thrower which means you won't see as many Cam style lasers thrown towards his targets. He can zip it in there when he needs to, but that's not going to be the norm.
-
Yeah he lack of elite arm strength and athletic ability is why teams were split over him and Leaf. There were mentions of him being at his ceiling and overachieving. Young can zip it when he wants. I don't see an NFL throw that he can't make. Regardless if there is a difference it's small (good in the NFL vs average) not at the top of the league and not at the bottom. Both are somewhere in the middle.

I was reading his draft profile when I saw the good not great arm strength. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2050587-looking-back-at-nfl-draft-profiles-from-back-in-the-day Also mentioned was his velocity not being good. While athleticism has never been Manning's calling card, he's proven that waffling throws and lack of mobility were no obstacles at all. The ball velocity question seems laughable now, but back in the day it really did pale in comparison to Leaf's cannon shots down the field. Here is one for Brady Negatives: Poor build. Very skinny and narrow. Ended the '99 season weighing 195 pounds and still looks like a rail at 211. Looks a little frail and lacks great physical stature and strength. Can get pushed down more easily than you'd like. Lacks mobility and ability to avoid the rush. Lacks a really strong arm. Can't drive the ball down the field and does not throw a really tight spiral. System-type player who can get exposed if he must ad-lib and do things on his own.
