Most teams aren’t going to have complete rosters. The hope is that our new coach can get the best out of our JAGs like the new coach is doing in NYG. Hopefully we draft a QB in the first which can immediately upgrade our offense from this poo show. We need players like Brandon Smith, TMJ, Shi Smith, YGM, Tremble, Thomas etc to player better with a coach that can play them to their strengths. We obviously aren’t jumping from worst to first, but hopefully can get to be competitive again next year.

That’s fair, but it’s hard to hold it against him that he has played so well he has never really had to face adversity. It’s more of a question mark than a negative IMO. Even in their 2 losses last year he still played great.

This is what I don’t understand. We have one of the worst cap situations and are the worst team in the league. There is no way he had nothing to do with it. He was all excited about the Darnold trade and the Robbie extension. If he somehow had NOTHING (which seems unlikely) to do with this situation, how can anyone say anything good about him? He would be basically a PR person for Rhule…

Tepper has already said he wants an offensive minded young coach. There is no way Fitt gets to pick one without Tepper’s input.

Corral had AJ Brown and Elijah Moore. His offense was designed where he knew where the ball was going before the snap or it was a RPO with only one or two passing options. This is why he struggled as a rookie. He has to learn how to sit back and go through progressions which is why he is considered a project QB. Also Ole Miss is looking just fine without him. That’s all Kiffin. Yeah Stroud has a loaded team and he puts up insane numbers to match it. He sits in the pocket and goes through his reads. Burrow has an insanely loaded roster in college and put up big numbers Same for Mac Jones. It’s not like Stroud isn’t throwing against NFL CBs in the Big10. He checks every box you want in a QB.

Yeah mock him for dropping passing, whining about fans booing, not performing after getting paid, calling Sir Purr a bear. Plenty of material there. His hair and register of speech doesn’t really matter.

Yeah we really aren’t in that bad of shape. Give us a young offensive minded HC plus a top QB from this draft and we can get competitive sooner than later.

Rhule won 11 games with Temple players on his roster, 0 without any...

Pro Bowl last year with Mac Jones and Kirk Cousins. He looked good as a rookie and started off hot last year. Teams are learning to try to keep him in the pocket and make him operate from there where his vision is limited. Four years in after signing a big contract and it’s not looking great for him.

If we get our 5th back from the Baker trade, I’ll be thrilled. I bet it’s a 6th/7th realistically…

It’s a lazy narrative for sure

Put it this way, he looks small for the position when he is out there on the field. That's the negative about him for every draft analyst I have read so far. He does everything well, but the concern is his frame/durability at the next level. If he had a couple inches and about 20 pounds It would be Young 1 and Stroud 2. Since he doesn't it varies on different mock drafts and opinions on who is the top pick. If you want to argue an inch and 10 pounds go ahead.

I think Young's arm strength is good. Durability with his frame/style of play would be a concern to me.
