What did Metchie say to Bryce?
-
I don't think anyone has given up on him. We are just frustrated. He probably is too. It is in all of our best interests for him to work out. We are emotional in Carolina, and therefore impatient. The fans will come back around once he starts putting it all together. Good luck out there X.

Special Teams Oddities (laces out?)
BlazeCarolina replied to BlazeCarolina's topic in Carolina Panthers
Preseason doesn't matter, so best time for Etienne to get some live reps and see how it goes. Same can be said for Jimmy, but who knows what their plans are right now. -

Agreed. Jimmy got that shhhpeeed. No one has been talking about Jaycee returning anything but to the field and staying there. -

Chris Tabor was good? -

Interesting. I wonder why the change. I am all for more entertaining kicking. The rule changes probably attributed to the bounce technique being more effect as well. Gives the coverage team longer to get down the field. It takes me a while to understand new rules, but I heard that somewhere. -
Coker outperformed him last season as well?
-
I don't know how you can possibly say that with Tmac and Coker around. Coker has already outplayed his draft position (not) drastically and TMac keeps making circus catches. Unless you mean he is currently in the basement and has the farthest to climb.

Everyone has to justify their job to keep it. If you can point at a player instead of you, that helps a bit. Not saying that is what is happening, but if it is, that would make sense.

I'm no scientist, but I feel like the slight extra weight or aerodynamics would cause a slight deviation. If it is just superstition, it is apparently working. Would be funny if other teams start to do the same. Year of the muff. -

Nice! So I'm not crazy. Will definitely be something to keep an eye on going forward. Anyone have any theories as to why this is happening? -

That's what I was thinking. Probably shouldn't have posted this so late. Still good for discussion imo. I am sure we have someone more knowledgeable on kicking than me. -

Is this a thing that is normally done and I just now noticed? -
Has anyone covered this here yet? There were a lot of gaffs on both teams in special teams. When reviewing some footage, I noticed we kicked off with the laces facing the sidlelines. I don't generally pay that much attention to something like that, but I thought it was always laces out ala Ace Ventura? Does anyone know what kind of effect that would have on the ball? We have to be doing it on purpose? Why has no one tried this yet if it is somehow effective in causing muffs? Just trying to get something different to chat about...don't hang me.

Special teams should also be on the duds.

I remember reading she was...involved. I don't know how much I can explain on a forum like this lol Like Ms. Smith be a lil freaky.
-
Steve Smith talking trash about JJ Jansen should not be tolerated.
-
I heard she was part of it? Is she actually leaving him?
-
If we have to go to him for any real length of time, it is probably better strategically for him to poo the bed. I was hoping to see some Plummer tonight.
-
Never hated on Shedeur. Always thought it was like the Ball family situation. He was hurt by what was happening off the field. I don't like the attention he gets, but he looks like an NFL QB out there tonight. Good debut. That first TD pass was a beauty.

Plenty, but Moton is an easy pick. He just got all tearful about the possibility of not being here.

BREAKING: Jaycee Horn in Minor Car Accident
BlazeCarolina replied to WUnderhill's topic in Carolina Panthers
You said it buddy, not me. Why did you make the comment about them hiring drivers? -
We aren't making you defend him lol I just view him in a different tier than you do, I feel. He ain't that guy. You would have preferred us keep him and stay on the trajectory we were on? It was a necessary evil in the situation. We are better today. (on paper)

I only watch Panthers ball, so correct me if I am wrong, but he hasn't been setting the world on fire since leaving either. He is 20th on the rankings from a quick Goog. I know he was talented, but he never struck me as having that "dawg" as we like to say. I hope the young room we have totally change the landscape of our view at WR.
