  1. I was just dispelling the "he can't throw past 25 yards" focus jfra.
  2. I don't think he has the strongest arm out there, but he clearly can. He has done it for us. I know it doesn't fit the hater agenda, though. https://www.panthers.com/video/must-see-bryce-young-slings-45-yard-dime-on-the-money-to-mike-strachan
  3. You are going to see whatever you want. You are just going to ignore the points I make, because you want to hate on the guy. He's not Jimmy Clausen. The guy shows perfection out there at times. Why not give him the benefit of the doubt, especially when he is our only option right now, and we have seen this play out with other QBs? Surely you don't think we are the best home for a QB? Clearly he can win games when the cast supports him.
  4. There are too many factors to place this blame on Bryce. It is a team game. 1 man is not going to make up for that. It's not like we haven't seen this scenario play out already with Darnold and Mayfield. Support him and keep building while he is the guy. I see no value in hating on him.
  5. I don't think it is an opinion when the stats back it up. If he was as garbage as people claim, he would not be capable of having 10/10 drives with 3 TDs and a perfect passer rating. Someone compared him to Clausen. That is just hate imo. Not sure why.
  6. Players showing promise. I am not a Bryce hater. He has shown enough to me to feel that other factors could be bringing him down, especially given our history. I don't buy the he's not an NFL QB angle. If he wasn't capable, there wouldn't be windows of perfection. We invested heavily into him, and I don't see a logical move to change it right now. So, for a few different reasons, right now, he is the guy. I root for our guys. I use Teddy as an example, because I hated when he was our QB, but he was still the guy. I rooted for him while he was the guy, but was happy when he left, too.
  7. Comparing Bryce to Pickles is another crazy take imo. No idea why y'all hate this kid so bad. I don't think I am going to get anywhere if you can seriously make that comparison. Wild.
  8. More experience than any of us around here. Point is, why not buy into that thinking instead of trying to point out how he's going to fail? How does that benefit us? Root for him until it is over imo. He's the guy. I rooted for Teddy when he was here, and I can't stand his play style.
  9. Yeah, I mean it's not like we have seen QBs leave here and resurrect there career or anything. We would need to see that happen at least three times to be valid.
  10. Chris Long was just saying how people need to realize he is pro quarterback and he's going to be fine if the team around him can get their poo together. He said he would look like a pro bowler on another team. Why can't y'all get on board with that mentality? It costs you just as much to be optimistic as pessimistic. Why not root for our guy?
  11. Putting this much effort into hating on a dude who is at the helm of our organization if just wild to me. Stop saying he's good! He sucks! Wild take.
  12. I was talking about pre season hype vs now. They were talking about him being the best route runner on the team and being unguardable. Putting people in the blender. He has had 1 catch the last two games, and before that it was 2 per game. I like Renfrow, but it seems him and Bryce are not on the same page.
  13. Well, we started with thinking we had AT, Tmac, XL, Coker, and Renfrow as our guys. Thielen got traded. XL has been a disappointment. Coker got hurt. Renfrow has been pretty invisible. I still think we are better than usual. Just saying we took a hit in perception from the casual fan.
  14. We thought WR was a strong room before the season and it went South quickly. A lot less has to go wrong for one of them to go down. Can we just enjoy having nice things on this one? Chuba entrenched contract wise, and Rico is the rental. I had to say it like this, but let's see if Rico can handle the punishment before we spend on him. If not, run him a bit into the ground and save Chuba. Rico is closer to that decline age. Let that be somewhere else.
  15. Prince and Scourton both had years where they had 10+ sacks. Let them continue to learn. We don't really know what we have yet. I'd like to see the info on their snap counts. For some reason we seem to like to play the wrong guys sometimes.
  16. Love stuff like this. Thank you for posting. Hadn't heard this one.
  17. Rightfully so? We had no confidence in Eddy and he wanted to be the top paid kicker. I am glad he seems to be doing better in San Fran, but he was never making those type of kicks here. I didn't look into the changes for the ball, but it seems crazy he is making it 50+ now. He was NOT that guy here. Glad we moved on, and seemed to find a real one in Fitz. Been bickering with folks about this a while, so I am a big Fitz supporter. I am loyal to performance though, so if he starts consistently missing or gets a big head, I will turn on him quick lol.
  18. I had a lot of issues with Eddy. A lot of fans have amnesia or selective memory, though. I think he kicked a game winner for San Fran one game and they were going wild on Reddit talking about how stupid we were for letting him walk and having no recollection of how our play calling changed with him around on anything past a 40 yarder. Frustrating being a Panthers fan sometimes. I prefer Fitz, even if he isn't perfect. Not sure why Eddy developed a leg once he left, but we couldn't trust him here, so it is irrelevant.
  19. I feel it was worse than that. I have taken a lot of flack on Reddit over Eddy Stans lol.
  20. I was pulling hard for Fitz before the season when everyone was calling for his head for missing on the skinny posts. Glad to see him doing well. Hopefully we have found our kicker for now and the future.
  21. Shhh...don't make it unobtainable for him. I wanna see this. This dude was hurling insults at me calling me bonedick, I need to see him make an ass of himself on stream.
  22. I think some credit should go to Bryce on that as well. He moves in the pocket well, and avoids trouble a good bit.
