  1. Worst trades ever. In case you are wondering, yes, it makes the list. It is not the only ranked trade we are involved in either. https://youtu.be/2cBmLSDYMhw?si=gR34wa8FYrScYe9I
  2. Nah, it will be more of a Panthers thing to be dismayed and entertained watching him do his version of the Ickey Shuffle out at left tackle for a while longer, sign him to a stupid value 2nd contract, or just let him walk and have nothing at left tackle and be over a barrel and take whatever turnstile we can find on the open market.
  3. Star-studded qb class to be certain. What position did young Mr. Simms play again? I forget.
  4. He's the pick if we stay at 8 and he is still on the board.
  5. Of course he does. I am very hopeful. I am hoping he doesn't lead the league in drops and talking funny.
  6. Whether it has merit or not, doesn't matter. The Panthers are not drafting a tackle at #8. They will take the lazy do-nothing guy from Texas A+M before they take a tackle at 8.
  7. We already have a replacement right tackle to take over for Moton. He is somewhat playing as the current left tackle.
  8. I am little shocked and not entirely convinced that any player would allow their career to be determined by Dennis Allen. He has little credibility and zero accomplishments in the NFL.
  9. He reminds me a little of Jake Locker. He does have some physical skills, and a little mobility. Locker I think made it a couple of years. I sort of expect the same from Dart.
  10. Dart at 9 is ridiculous in my opinion. He was helped immensely by the Kiffen system. Seems like a bunch of the commenters do not expect him to make it past the 1st round though.
  11. If it came right down to brass tacks and this was the scenario, I would prefer to go with the LT. Not only because I tend to agree that if you can build dominating lines, it allows the team to operate. I also think that it is a very Panthers thing to have a LT that has a weakness in pass blocking, but we just hope with all our being that he gets better. We could play him at a strength instead of tolerating a weakness. This is the least likely thing to happen in the Panthers draft, and I would instead expect to say "Hello, Mykel!"
  12. There are always a couple. But even they probably knew he wasn't ready to play day 1.
  13. If it goes like this, hopefully they are taking the other Georgia player, Mykel, Warren or the best pass blocking tackle.
  14. Water is wet. Everyone knew he was not ready to play. It was entirely a gamble on potential.
  15. You aren't going to ever get him out of the equation. As he has stated previously, he believes it his right to make the final call on decisions.
  16. The NFL knows that it is a guaranteed story if he isn't taken in the 1st, and sits there the entire time. The NFL knows that it is a guaranteed story if he is taken in the 1st, and some desperate team for a QB takes the chance.
  17. Steelers sure seem like a team that would just sit and wait and maybe that means Dart, or Sanders or 1 of the other guys. Can't see them making a trade like that.
  18. I think he is the pick if he is there. Mayock also predicted that there would be no trade-ups into the top 10.
  19. Mike Mayock was on Eisen's show this afternoon, and said Walker was a "plug and play presence at edge," and would be the pick at 8.
  20. Now now. We have to hold on to the dream that some idiot team, not us but some other idiot team, will be itching to trade up to 8 for a ransom in order to draft a player that could and should be our next big bust.
  21. Skip ahead to the 5 minute mark, and then again to 6:50. It sure sounds like Walker is the pick if he there.
  22. I am not sure of where Sanders will go. I would be surprised if he is there at 8. Dart would be a Panthers/Browns/Jets level of stupid at 8. A tackle at 8 I could see. Of course, a tackle would not be terrible choice for us. Move Ikey and his pass block deficient self to right after next year and put our 2nd year left tackle, that can hopefully pass block in his spot on the line.
  23. I will agree on that 1, but maybe not for a rb. There aren't too many teams these days that are looking to trade draft picks to move up for a rb. Well. There are couple of teams though.
  24. The problem with trading down is that it needs a team willing to pay some sort of premium to move up for a player they feel is worth the spend. If we are sitting at 8 and every player available is an unworthy garbage reach, what team is dumb enough to move up?
