Actually, I've been advocating this ever since we were connected to Watson. As uniquely talented and great as CMC is, at the end of the day, he's a RB, and now, appears to be a RB who can't stay healthy or available. It would be wise to include him in any trade for Watson, as maybe they'll value the star power over common sense and knowing that winning teams aren't built around RBs. We may as well try to get out from under his contract as soon as possible.

Chris Simms: People have caught on to the Panthers offense.

Another poster and I (can't recall who it was off the top of my head) were just discussing the repeat plays here yesterday, I believe. Specifically the repeated end arounds that have no variation and look exactly like the ones ran before, both to WRs and Tremble. The run plays, too. Idk how many times we've set up for an obvious run, and everyone knew it was a dive or belly, straight up the middle. Even the slant/flat combos come out of the same formations and the same setup everytime... that's where I say, it's not just Darnold sucking, and then trying to protect him, it's also Brady. He isn't giving defenses anything to second guess or hesitate about. I said it in the gameday thread last week - if we fans sitting at home or in the stands see a formation and setup/motion, and know we've seen it before and what is coming, you know NFL defense are salivating presnap because they damn sure do. It's just embarrassing. -

Second year in a row that the whole season gets shot to hell by some combination of the inherent weaknesses of the QB and/or the OC. Brady may be a man-genius OC, but we'll never know because when and Rhule keep marrying themselves to these limited retreads. -
Also, Suggs is cheeks, as I predicted lol.
-
I amend what I said... Gordon stepped up, and played well tonight.
-
Miles is an all-star this season. No doubt.
-
JB subbed Melo out with less than 4 mins left. This has been rough.
-
Nice search back and pull, Melo! Hopefully getting that one got him right.
-
My God Melo has never even looked close to being this bad. Maybe having the ol' Jordan Flu?
-
Wtf was that Martin??? Drive into 4 people and jump from the FT line?
-
And maybe its just me, but McDaniels is like my favorite player on this roster not named Miles or Melo, out of the guys getting minutes... it just seems like he's automatic from three this year, and his size and athleticism makes him so versatile on both offense and defense.
-
Doesn't look like JB was happy about that stretch either.
-
Melo must've had a late night out. He looks pretty bad tonight.
-
Yeah, I expect it, I just hadn't remembered seeing Melo in at all in the 3rd.
-
Even as a UNC guy, I'm sorry, but Cole Anthony is trash and I have no idea how he's getting these shots in.
-
Yeah, and I haven't noticed him at all in the 3rd. Weird.
-
Yeah, I still hope we find a way to move him for Myles Turner. He just ain't what he was, even from the beginning of last season. Lot of questionable decisions and shots early this season.
-
Nice of them ignoring Wagner swinging his elbows up high on Ish.
-
Also, Suggs is who I thought he was. Not impressed.
-
Is Melo injured?
-
Yup, and I'm convinced he would have had 50 if he played the 4th qtr against the Nets.
-
Yeah, we're fuging up defensively, and it always feels like Ross kills us at something every year, but man this officiating has been complete ass on our defensive end the last two games and its pissing me off. That last charge call on McDaniels was complete bullshit. Wagner was still sliding. And the refs completely took over the Boston game late.
-
Yup. And the crazy thing is, if Tepper swallowed his pride and signed Cam tomorrow, the fanbase would be completely rejuvenated and I guarantee would fill up the stadium just to show their love and appreciation for Cam, and not to mention, he is 100x the QB Sam or Teddy is, even now.

I agree. Not ever surprised by the presence of Packers, Steelers, Washington, Dallas, and maybe even Eagles fans... but, that Vikings poo was over the top and a clear indicator that something isn't right and has drastically changed. And again, it wasn't just a few, it sounded like they were the majority. But, you'd know better than me, as you were there... all I know is, even with the known traveling fans of the aforementioned teams, I never heard them take over the stadium like I have heard this season. It's bad.

NGL, I thought it was only a very small fraction of the fanbase that didn't like or believe in the Rhule hire and regime, but clearly it was either his hire or Cam's dismissal, or both, but the mass exodus of present Panther fans on Sundays has resulted in BOA stadium becoming a home game for the opponent this year and it has been absolutely embarrassing. We might have had a smattering of opposing fans over the years, that you could sometimes hear during games, but this season, they are the loudest faction of spectators there. Against both the Eagles and Vikings the crowd booed when bad calls were made against the visiting team, cheered wildly when they scored, and against t the Vikings, the crowd even started a "Skol" chant. It's worse than it's ever been.
