Deion was my favorite player growing up (then Barry), so I've been pulling for him my whole life and I'm telling you, outside of my Heels, I am prolly the biggest Colorado fan in the world right now that has zero ties to the area or school. I think there is something to be said about someone who embodies the physical manifestation of their thoughts. A lot of people think Deion just talks poo and that he's cocky, brash, and arrogant... but if people actually listened to what he's saying, it's all substantive. He has said the literal invention of Prime Time was our of necessity to pull him out of his living conditions - if he didn't believe in himself, no one else would. And he believed it, became it, and influenced generations of people, athletes, and culture as a result. He's smart and when he talks, people have no choice but to kaite , whether they like him or not... but he's a force of nature, and I feel like that's why he can't lose in this endeavor. Those kids are ready to run through a wall for him and I love seeing it. Also, for those that didn't watch, Shedeur is a guy to keep an eye out for... i have not seen that much poise and touch consistent from a college QB throughout an entire game in a very, very long time.

That seemed to be a reoccurring theme in a lot of the preseason breakdowns I've watched - we don't have speed. I honestly think a lot of it is just because we weren't running real plays. So much was made about Reich's mesh concepts after the hire, and that, when run properly creates separation by design... what I saw run during the preseason at times looked like mesh concepts with what should've been rubs built-in, but they were so widely spaced out, they didn't create any additional separation. I just hope it was schematic and our guys were just loafing a bit because they didn't want to show too much... hell, even O'Sullivan talked about how crappy Theilen's routes and effort were and he is a renowned route runner. I'm hoping that's all it was... also, I think we'll look quite different now with a healthy Chark, Laviska, and now Smith-Marsette.

Damn. Yuck.

I like the experience, but trying to figure out why he went from a 14 game starter to waived the next year?
-
Yuck

fuging Chiefs, bro. 31 other teams didn't want him... but the team that knows wtf they're doing did. Smh...

Preciate it. Never remembered seeing his name in any of the waves... but I figured. He didn't look great that last game or so.
-
It just hit me... Did we cut Wright? I don't remember seeing his name yesterday.
-
Damn. Well, thanks to the asshole tweeters who said he had already been waived. Smh... I hate this era of "reporting."
-
Really hope we get the TE from the Broncos.
-
Damn. I just don't know how Robbie fell off so bad, so fast.
-
He would be a waiver guy wouldn't he? Doubt he makes it to us.
-
Good poo.
-
Who tf are Greg Mabin and Ricky Lee? Sounds like auto-generated players on Madden Franchise to fill out your roster.
-
Damn. Rowe gone too. I guess they do like Jammie.

I'm thinking it's a trade, unless they're thinking some wild poo like moving Chinn to LB full-time. l just don't see how you cut all the talented MLB depth without already having a guy ready to step-in, guaranteed. No point in cutting known commodities in hopes of someone else becoming available later... it's a crapshoot.

Damn, Brandon Smith AND Deion Jones????

*End of an Error

Legit surprised about Deion. He was balling and has the experience.

Trade: Panthers Acquire Ihmir Smith-Marsette from Chiefs

Yeah, but as a nickel he essentially is more an extra LB or S versus a legit corner. -

I honestly think this could mean we might be looking fir a replacement to Blackshear as well. I thought I liked what I saw from him last season in limited action, but he did not impress me much this preseason. -

https://www.google.com/amp/s/sports.yahoo.com/amphtml/vikings-receiver-ihmir-smith-marsette-234700983.html “You can get some matchups sometimes,” offensive coordinator Wes Phillips said. “You hear defenses when there’s a three-receiver set, they’re calling out, ‘Hey, they’ve got speed at three.’ Because in certain coverages, split-safety coverages, some teams are asking that (middle linebacker) to carry (the No. 3 receiver) vertical.” That’s where Smith-Marsette might be able to do some damage. You know what they say about speed. “He’s able to stretch the defenses (and) put that vertical push on defenders to get them scared of his speed,” Osborn said. “He’s just a really dangerous weapon for us to have on offense.” That’s not the only thing Osborn has noticed about Smith-Marsette. “His route-running has got a lot better,” Osborn said. “He’s worked on that, and we can see it out here. He looks good.” Asked about his growth since last season, Smith-Marsette credited fellow receivers Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen. He said he’s been trying to be a sponge as much as possible. It appears to be paying off. -
