  1. Yeah, his prospects are very limited if he has any at all. This just sucks for him. And his case is why I don't want to hear poo from fans when a player wants a new contract... there is no greater example of someone who put their body on the line for an organization, got destroyed in the process, and was thrown out like yesterday's trash for doing so. I still honestly wish we would've just kept him and I still think he's better than Darnold.
  2. Woooooow. Wtf?!?!?!? Belichick is a fuging asshole. After all that talk about him and Cam having a bond? Cam deserved so much better.. I hope Mac Jones sucks ass.
  3. The death knell prevailed again... If Rhule is overly complimentary, your ass is grass.
  4. Not really. And it feels like all of the rookies should make it except maybe Fletcher. Might be some slight grumbling if Hoskins or Nixon are let go. I really hope we hang onto them all, again, outside of whoever wins the Fletcher/Jansen battle, I would be disappointed if we let one of them go bc they all had moments. Bayless seemed like he was on his way to being a camp star, but whether it was poor reporting or him just falling off, he just didn't seem to sustain the momentum. Shi Smith should be a lock after RA, DJ, TMJ, and D. Moore, and I think after them the last spot goes to either Saunders or Zylstra. Yeah, the more I type, the more I realize we already seem to have a good grasp on who makes it and/or are less invested because the reporting was so sparse in TC, so I'll stop now.
  5. Wow, so Maria Taylor did leave ESPN? They fired Rachel Nichols and lost Taylor, too? lol. I could see Brees being good at the gig as well.
  6. https://nflcombineresults.com/playerpage.php?i=27450 Pro day measurables weren't all that amazing. Thats all I got.
  7. I agree about CB. Melvin is over 30, and I didnt see any marked advantage with him out there compared to our young guys, so you gotta go with youth/potential.
  8. That willpa guy that broke it says it was us that dropped out. So, yes.
  9. Per Schefty. I know there was some interest here on the huddle. Seems like Sirianni (sp?) has never really been on board with Hurts. Interesting to see what happens.
  10. Yeah, I remember the early reports when we brought him in last year about him shanking one in the parking lot, but he has been lights out. He is 10x better than Palardy ever was. Big leg, and just has a perfect feel for way to place them... the way he got that punt to check up perfectly at the 1. The dude is a 100% certified UNIT.
  11. That mf is filthy. Rhule better quit playing.
  12. Daley, Brown, and Christensen need to be out there. Period.
  13. The last drive, I saw promise, so ultimately it left me encouraged. But only slightly. I'm hoping he can hold onto that momentum and it leads him to reaching his full potential here... but, as I said in the other thread, the line wasn't terrible while he was in, and yet, he had some very Clausen-like, panic-induced moments early. Those two extremes bother me, but I feel like watching that last drive, if he can string some great plays and drives together, I think it could change his entire career trajectory once he feels the confidence that he can and is making plays.
  14. He finished on a high note, and left me hopeful he may have gotten in his bag and found a rhythm moving forward... Robby was happy with it. But, I'm ngl, the OL really wasn't all that bad except for Elflein, and yet, Sam had some very Clausen-like moments early. So, although I'm encouraged by the final drive, the extremes I saw from some of the panic stuff he did earlier is troubling.
  15. I agree.. but if they can play, they can play. Pretty sure thats gonna be taken care of on final cuts. I expect maybe 5 or less on the active 53. Off the top of my head, Reddick is a baller no matter where he played, and I really like Sam Franklin's potential. Other than that, most of his other college guys can gtfo.
  16. It sure does feel good to finally have a GM who sees a weakness, like we do, and he goes out and gets a guy to fix it or just gets rid of the weakness for value. It is so refreshing to have a guy who, when national reports come out about a player being available that could improve our team, we know will have us in the mix for him. I dont think we've ever been one of those teams. Our previous GMs were so incestuous/neptotistic they rarely ever looked for outside help and it feels ike even if they did, players felt we were such a poorly run organization it would hardly ever pan out. Fit is different. Tepper needs to slide his brass balls statue over to Fit's office.
  17. I hope no one steps on his foot in Las Vegas. And good thing he will likely be flying there so he won't get another speeding ticket.
  18. Damn, I called it in the thread about JCJ being named the starter. His poo wore thin quick with Rhule and Fit. I wonder if he'll pass his physical with his labia in a sling.
  19. Good for him. Couldn't be me. Again, I was a bit of a fan of Teddy from afar since college bc he was an easy guy to pull for, but I never would've wanted him as our QB due to his obvious and glaring shortcomings. I felt that way even before his injury. That being said, I'm not gonna lie, that could end up being a great gig for him because I always envisioned thats really the only kind of team he would be ideal for - a team with a great, aggressive defense who wins games for them, so the only thing the QB has to do is play it safe and not turn the ball over. It's why I never understood why he didn't take the job with Chicago last year until we found out it was bc they didn't hand him the starting role. Now, sorry to say, although I wish Teddy well, I wish the Broncos nothing but the worst and hope their franchise burns in the eternal flames of professional football mediocrity for the rest of their existence.
