  1. Can't wait to see our new and improved team. Excited to see Mo, PJ and JT getting more minutes, no Neal... Those are all good things. Furthermore, it's awesome that we traded for Mo before the all-star break because I'm sure it gave him more time to get acclimated with our calls, plays, sets, etc.
  2. He may not be as refined, but he has some amazing post moves for a kid his age. He also has more range and most of all, he plays defense. I'm not particular though, if they give the starting nod to Biz, that's fine by me as well. I was going to make a thread about it once Al came back from injury and we had him come off the bench, but just based on their plus/minus alone, Biz has been a far better player. I'm too lazy to pull up the numbers today though, but it's definitely worth looking into.
  3. Hohohooooooo... That is the best part. I'm still chaffing!
  4. Only mods have exclusive access to the huddle's boom boom room. You have no idea what you're missing.
  5. I really hope we can find a way to deal Lance before the deadline. But I just don't see anyone taking him for anything other than a salary dump... He just looks horrible. We are so much better off with MKG, JT, PJ, Hendo (if he's not traded), and Daniels now on the wings. That is a deep, talented unit with a little bit of everything. And I'm gonna get flamed for this, but Noah and Biz should be starting... Al's minutes should be reduced significantly.
  6. This is embarrassing. Blown out by 30 at home to fuging DETROIT... SMH... that whole thing I said before about holding onto Lance? I was wrong. He has to go. All he is doing is taking minutes from pj. And Clifford needs to get his poo together about the minute distribution after the All-star break. Quit the political bullshit about not playing rookies. If PJ is better, you play him, and he is. In that same vein, AL, for the most part throughout the year, is playing like poo regardless of who is in the backcourt. If Vonleh or Biz are better, which they are bc they PLAY DEFENSE, then you play them.
  7. PJ finishes the first half with 12 pts in almost the same amount of minutes, and what does Clifford do? Play him two minutes the entire 3rd qtr... In favor of turnover machine and scoring liability Lance Stephenson. fuging dumbass.
  8. This is why I've been saying PJ should be starting.
  9. I would actually really like Maclin at WR and maybe Cobb. Two really fast, athletic guys with YAC ability. I would prefer to bring Dwan back also at DT.
  10. I remember those reports even after the reports of the charges came out, but are you saying you've heard personally from someone inside that they are negotiating with him as well? If so, what is your feeling about what will happen?
  11. So Goodell almost entirely ruined our season, basically strung us out due to Hardy's cap number and forcing us to suspend him, cost Hardy a season of his career because he's an asshole... ANNNNND, where are all the White Knights defending Holder? The ones that without a sliver of a doubt KNEW she was a victim, simply because she said so? What a joke. Good to see she is principled person that wants to see justice served for the crimes she suffered... Oh wait, that's right, she didn't... She manipulated the system, had the cops arrest the very man that called them to come remove her crazy ass from his home, and is now walking away with what she wanted all along, including when she was with him... A PAYDAY. Our front office would be idiots to not at least try to retain Greg, even if it's just to keep him away from a division rival. I really hope they at least explore it. At the very least, we have to tag him and trade him for value.
  12. Do I need to have watched BB in order to watchand/or get this show? I watched the first 45 mins or so last night and it was really good... I stopped at the part where he made the plan with the skateboarders at the intersection.
  13. I do wonder now if it was Carroll or Wilson responsible for it now though... But the point remains, because supposedly a lot of their locker room problems were between Wilson and Lynch... But in Wilson's presser, he just said something along the lines of "we came out in a formation with the chance to pass," with it pretty ambiguous as to whether he was saying it was a called pass play, or a formation that he audibles into a pass play with. I know ultimately whoever called the play did it to win, but I still wonder if those underlying issues affected the decision.
  14. It's the offseason. I have my tinfoil hat on... And I refuse to believe someone that has looked so smart for so long just immediately became so dumb.
  15. I heard his interview SZ, but it made absolutely no sense to me. The windows are so much smaller and there is so little space when you're that close to that goalline. The risks of throwing it there are significantly greater than the reward that could be had by just running Lynch three times in a row, IF THAT.
  16. I'm not saying he was thinking about his contract. I'm not even saying it was a conscious decision. When you have an ongoing who battle with someone you work with, do your personal opinions of that person affect your decisions involving them or not? They absolutely do.
  17. Idk... I just saw the Lynch Extension thread now. Thats news to me because from the regular league news guys throughout the season, it seemed to be a foregone conclusion that they were cutting him after the season. Regardless of whether that was the case, I still think the constant back and forth throughout the year (the interviews, hold muh dicks, Wilson's race debate, Harvin trade reaction, etc.) could have had an influence on that call.
  18. I have to wonder... There were issues bubbling between the organization, and specifically Carroll, since training camp. Add to that the fact that Lynch repeatedly brought more unwanted attention for the Hawks as the year went on with his interviews and gestures. I like Lynch myself, but I just think this was a constant battle of one-upmanship between he and the organization. Now, coming full circle tonight... Once Lynch didn't get in on the first down and Carroll had time to think about it, I think he weighed out whom he would rather get the shine in this win... Because no doubt, as confident as Carroll is, I think he was sure that they would win regardless of the playcall. Did he want to go the rest of the offseason with everyone talking about how Lynch won them the Superbowl and they cut him? Or would he rather everyone admonish Wilson with love as the franchise qb who won them their second Superbowl in row? Otherwise, I just can't understand why or how you make any call but giving it to Lynch there.
  19. Although Gronk is a meathead and plays for the Pats, it goes against every natural inclination, but I find him to be a cool ass dude. Same for Marshawn. I think they both are hilarious.
  20. Lol Thanks so much bro! Yeah I definitely have to clean out my pm box but it's hard to navigate on mobile and I don't use my computer enough to remember to do it when I do. Regardless, it is much appreciated and I never took it personal. We are united as brothers in this thing called fantom! Much health, success, and prosperity to us all (including our teams lol) in 2015!
  21. Okay, okay, a Hornets forum on a Panthers board lol. Sorry KG, I've grown to respect Kobe's game over the years, but I'll always hate his guts for shunning Charlotte and just for being an overall asshole, jmo.
  22. Oops, shouldve fact checked that one, but you're right, the point remains the same... The teams MJ had with the Wiz had no business sniffing 30 wins, and in all honesty, he shouldn't have played those years himself as it was clear he hadn't prepared to play with his conditioning. But, he carried them and they still ended up with a respectable record each year. IIRC, only players outside of MJ I can remember from those teams were Chris Whitney, Popeye Jones, a rookie Rip Hamilton before he became Rip of Pistons lure, and of course all-world Kwame Brown. Wow, those teams were really bad.
