    Sounds dumb but I would put "Super Bowl win as starter" as one of the bullets in the 1st round. And if my guy checks that, I'm good. It's dumb but its how I feel.

    If you think a 4th round pick is worth more than Dowdle's production this year then we just aren't going to agree. That's crazy to me. Especially given the context around the situation with the team.

    You don't have to give Dowdle a contract to get value out of him. He's already provided an insane amount of value in 8 games. We have him under contract for 9 more. A 4th round pick? Not enough. I'd deal Chuba for that though.

    I'd argue that blowing up the season for a 4th round pick is pretty short sighted. Rico is the most productive offensive player we have. Unless you're in favor of firing everyone, I don't see how you can think this is rational. If Canales is going to work they need to build something this season. Not strip it for day 3 picks.

    Look I realize we're not a legit playoff contender. But this a 4-4 team and Bryce's make or break year. If we're stripping the team for parts, then go ahead and fire Canales and cut Bryce because that's basically what's being chosen.

    They are both replaceable. Dowdle's been great, but it's a rotational position. Unless you have a HOF level back I'm not sure its worth locking one into a big contract.

    Rico’s 2 week stint as starter was the most productive 2 game stint for a running back since LeVeon Bell in 2011. You don’t need permission to keep that guy in the game.

    That's probably 3 years out. I think the odds are against Canales still being here.

    I think the official story is the team never confirmed it was a high ankle sprain. It was a generic ankle injury that caused him to miss a week. The optics of it are just funny.

    In a way that would make Bryce the QB this year no matter what. Which is arguably the right decision. It just sucks to watch on TV.

    Backup QB is always the most popular. When Young became the backup he became popular again. Bad performance means people want change. Even if its the same thing over and over.
