Levis is officially in free fall. QB needy teams passing left and right.
-
Why wouldn’t washington take Levis?
-
He’s not trash, he’s just overpaid. But that’s the way the league works.

Looks like small ball college football uniforms. Not a fan. It would have been better to refine their classic uniforms.

I believe it. I think Hooker is pretty underrated because of his age and the injury. He was very good at Tennessee.
-
No its not the same result. I think you're missing the point I'm trying to make. We're not the only team that has traded up to #1 take a player that didn't work out. But you look extra stupid if you trade up to 1, then trade down and end up with a guy that doesn't work out, while the guy who went first is a stud. That's the kind of trade that sticks with a GM the rest of their career. That could be the difference in Fitterer getting another GM job if he fails in Carolina.
-
Yeah and if Bryce is the man and CJ doesn't work out, he's an idiot. Draft value doesn't equate to a winning team. Picking the best players does. It's a high risk move because nobody has ever done that before. It would stand out and stick with him the rest of his career.
-
Its humorous this is still being entertained. I suppose its possible, but it would be unprecedented. Who trades up to 1 to trade down? Fitt is more likely to be a laughing stock than a genius with that kind of move. Not exactly the type of thing you want on your resume if things don't work out for him in Carolina.

I voted Texans. I think they have their heart set on Bryce Young. When he’s taken 1st overall they either pick another position or trade out of the pick. They start Davis Mills and tank next year.
-
I didn't realize a 3/4 majority could remove an owner. That's unreal that they couldn't get a 3/4 vote for Snyder. Really gives you some perspective on the nature of most of the owners in the NFL.

So this is supposed to be our new QB

Bryce Young meeting Frank Reich for the first time. -
JR just responded to the situation differently. He could have acted like Snyder but he agreed to sell the team instead. They can't really force anyone out if that person is willing to be a pariah.

I was about 80% Stroud and 20% Young originally and now I'm like 51% Young and 49% Stroud. Young has a lot of intangibles that are hard to ignore. If he was bigger he would probably be the consensus pick, so I would bet on him being able to overcome the size issue. Still would be super excited about either one.

Does he also design the uniforms for Maryland?

Would it not be smart to keep M.C around?
PNW_PantherMan replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
It makes sense as long as they want to carry 3 QBs. It's possible they will want to roll with just 2 QBs on the roster, which would presumably be the rookie and Dalton. I'd be in favor of keeping him. Worst case scenario, he never pans out. But his only real cost is a roster spot, and he could be trade bait if he develops. -
I was kind of indifferent towards it and not a huge fan initially. But as the years have passed, I feel it's a clear improvement over the original logo. I think that's a mark of good design, is it looks good years later.
-
I’d be cool with some updates. On that note, I’m no designer but I think the shoulder stripes plus the tiny numbers look stupid. Either reduce the stripes so the numbers can be normal or ditch the tiny numbers all together.

Panthers to have dinner with Levis

They're gonna take every QB prospect out cause Fitterer's gotta eat. -
The whole brass balls, all-in thing just reminds me of the decision to hire Matt Rhule.

We've definitely reached peak draft prospect hyperbole season.
