    I think we pick up the option, we regress next year. And then we move on and pay him anyways. This would the most Panther outcome possible.

    He’s a great fit for Everos system and benefits from playing with Horn. He had a great year.

    Yeah I don’t think this team is in a super bowl window with a vet QB. Otherwise I’d agree. They should still draft a guy or sign someone different as the backup. But next year Canales has to prove he can improve at calling the offense or were 12 months away from cleaning house.

    He played well enough to remain the short term answer at QB. The option will be picked up.

    He played well enough to move forward with him. I’m not sold on a big extension but the option seems like a lock now.

    If we stopped them this post wouldn't even exist. Its all about results. We lose and people call for firings every time. Personally I think the offensive play calling was a much bigger factor in the loss than the defensive play calling. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

    Its a bottom 15 defensive roster man. You have to set your expectations based on the players on the field first. Evero had a great season and I can't fault him for that last drive. Great throw beats great coverage.

    Evero is playing the same shell that most teams are. Hes not the problem. Dave Canales was the weak link today.

    Panthers had a great season all things considered. Just settling into the hockey game.

    I thought this game would expose Bryce but it really just exposed Canales as a playcaller.

    The real difference in this game was coaching. The players really showed up today for the most part.

    I can't say Bryce played a great game but he played pretty well overall.

    I can't blame Evero for that. We were out matched and his scheme has worked this year for the most part. You can arm chair coach all you want, but his results were good this year given the circumstances.
