  1. Russ was short but he was pretty jacked coming out of college. He’s always had a good amount of muscle for his size.
  2. Well big arm is probably too much credit. He had an NFL arm before all the rotator cuff surgeries in 2005 and onward
  3. He had a big arm before he hurt his shoulder. Noodle arm Pennington was out of the league pretty quick.
  4. They could sign a vet replacement level QB and keep building the roster.
  5. Yea his future is wearing lifted shoes on college gameday next to Nick Saban
  6. If XL had half the football instincts of Q I’d believe in him
  7. And even then his downfield accuracy has always been poor. Most of those Jameson Williams highlights at Alabama he was open by a mile.
  8. Yeah I think the issue is that Dave the play caller is likely a package deal with Dave the head coach.
  9. Yeah I understand the continuity argument, but he got thoroughly outcoached by Liam Coen.
  10. I feel about the same. I'm not in love with either prospect, but I think fighting against the current has done way more damage than drafting a bad player. We resisted drafting a QB when we should have done it, and then forced it when we shouldn't have.
  11. Sometimes you should just take what falls in your lap. Jaycee Horn is a good player, but I still would have drafted Justin Fields or Mac Jones. Yeah they both busted, but just using the 8th overall pick isn't that bad vs trading up. We had 2 first round prospects fall into our pick and we passed it up. I don't think either one would have worked out, but it's like the butterfly effect. We never would have traded for Darnold. We would have gotten another high pick to use on a QB after those guys didn't work out.
  12. Working for Tepper may age you faster than being president.
  13. If Teppers plan was to move the team, they’d probably be doing historically well. He can’t do anything right. The one time he tried to tank was the most successful stretch under his ownership.
  14. Works at lower levels, but NFL players need a prerequisite level of football tools coming in. There's simply not enough time to learn how to be an NFL player at age 23 or whatever. It's a progression of skill through high school and college.
  15. Bryce a bust? Maybe. But what if he's that edge case from 40 years ago?
  16. Implying there's any light at the end of that tunnel for us.
  17. Well put all of our sins on DJ and send him into the wilderness.
  18. Yea and apparently it came out years ago cause Jessie Bates had read it before his first game:
