USA TODAY record projections. Panthers not last
PNW_PantherMan replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I can’t see the Jets winning. That only happens if Mahomes is on IR and a number of other bounces occur in succession. Rodgers best match was the 49ers. That team needs a veteran QB that can win. It would have been a good story too. -
Fitterer Joins Washington Commanders’ Front Office

Chinn will either figure it out and be incredible or he'll be out of the league within 5 years. I don't know that there's any in between. His coverage skills are replacement level at best. But he has big potential as a honey badger type. -
2015 alone is better than any season Jets fans have experienced since 1968.

The Teddy Bridgewater signing was under Hurney and it was the same sort of deal. Definitely points to Tepper pushing for a QB as soon as possible. -

There's only so much you can expect hiring the people who just got fired from the worst team in the league. -

At this point I feel sorry for Washington fans. We aren’t in a good spot either but damn. -

Kenny Albert is a lot better when he’s calling a hockey game. I’m not sure why but he’s not great for football. -

He's closer to Russell Wilson than Tony Romo. You can't grind on-screen charisma. You either have it or you don't. -

Just like being a good businessman doesn't make you a good owner. Being a great player doesn't make you a good commentator. I expect this to go about as well as Michael Jordan's ownership or Wayne Gretzky's coaching. -
REPORT: Martavis Bryant has had contact with Panthers
PNW_PantherMan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper's always gotta hang onto somebody for too long. First it was Marty. Then it was Rhule. Then it was Fitterer. Now its Jim Caldwell. -

Tepper really should have done the opposite of every decision. -
Tepper's revolving door continues

I would assume so. If he got another job, I would expect to hear about that. If he stepped down I would think there would be an article about how he resigned and wants to go fishing or whatever. This seems like a firing and they're hoping nobody would notice. -

Its a shame his best years were on some terrible Charlotte teams. He really didn't have much success after leaving either. That was surprising to me.

2024 Carolina Panthers record prediction
PNW_PantherMan replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
I admire some of the optimism, but I'm going with 2-4 wins. Anything beyond that is overachieving for next season. It's really a recovery year for us. Maybe we can get lucky and have a few things work out along the way.
