All we can do at this point is hope and wait and see. And I have always said having optimism and hope are not really good strategies in building teams. I hope we crush this draft but I dont even know what that would look like at this point

Based on who hired both morgan and DC, and based off some of the other red flags that came up during the process and your post pretty much is how I feel as well. Enough with the stupid coach speak.

There were a plethora of coaches and players recently saying how positive and fun it was working for/with Canales. I dont recall one saying how he out schemed or put together a lights out game plan to beat some team. His offense last year was kindof "meh" and there are a few other red flags so I guess we will just have to wait and see and be patient. Like I said, this was probably the best Tepper could have done at the time.

Maye seems to be under some fire from some of the analysts lately. Some are saying the combine could move daniels to the 2nd qb. If the commies are not sold on either I would either swap to 3 with NE and/or simply draft Harrison because I know that kid can ball and roll Howell out there again hoping he improves because his year wasnt a total catastrophe play wise

Full disclosure: I said at the time the DC hire was fine. Probably best tepper could do without breaking the bank again but there are some issues you could nitpick with him. And I hope we dont look in hindsight and have to discuss them. Heres my overall issue with the hiring and the supposed fixing of bryce with the qb whisperer (feels like I have heard that with another coach) Canales. He was a wr coach in seattle and he supposedly worked with Wilson when he was drafted and helped him. He was the qb in seattle and supposedly helped Geno. He was the OC in tampa and supposedly helped Baker. And now he is the head coach tasked with the job of helping Bryce. Something just seems off with this narrative.
