  1. These mock drafts are picking up a bit. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/2023-nfl-mock-draft-bryce-young-will-anderson-jr-go-with-top-two-picks/ 5) Carolina Panthers: Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida It hasn’t exactly been envious to be a Panthers fan when it comes to seeing their team’s moves at the quarterback position. It has all been about high cost and low upside so far, and I think it’s about time the Panthers’ faithful see their team take a risk that might be worth taking. Anthony Richardson has the best traits in this draft class for a quarterback. He has a massive arm, great size, can throw with accuracy while threatening with his legs, and has the attitude of a starting QB in a pro league. Sure, the downsides are stark, and you can almost hear the growing pains he’ll have to go through making the leap from the SEC to the NFL. However, the potential payoff is (significantly) higher than “bottom-tier starter,” like what Panthers fans have had to deal with lately.
  2. I doubt he goes to the niners as bosa hates Mayfield
  3. Odds are that it will be. But in the short term he will put fannies in seats and in spurts look like an all world qb.
  4. I think even as a "bust" he will be able to produce due to the rushing ability as you say. He will buy himself time to develop with his legs. You can design an offense around that until he gets his passing down
  5. Because I think most on here see the writing on the wall, agree with it or not AR to the panthers is a very real possibility.
  6. There are maybe 5 starting qbs in the nfl that were picked in the 3rd or lower. The odds are not in his favor
  7. Just quit responding to him. He is obviously trolling
  8. If you were to poll 32 gms on which qb they would rather have all 32 would take ar. Don’t get yourself
  9. That seems to be the national consensus
  10. In fairness to tepper rhule sold him that they could win right away
  11. https://theathletic.com/3969913/2022/12/05/colts-jim-harbaugh-jeff-saturday-jim-irsay/ But he’s got a reputation for being difficult, for wearing people within the organization down to a fine nub. I don’t care This team needs a leader with an edge, someone who will demand accountability and will exude toughness — a Mike Vrabel. Look, Bill Polian was as difficult and crotchety as they came, and he was brilliant. Go back to Ryan Grigson, who was as cuddly as a dyspeptic grizzly, but enjoyed eminently more success than Ballard has had. Yes, the word on the street is that Harbaugh wears on people. Things ended badly in San Francisco. Tell me, though, how much success did the Niners have after Harbaugh left San Francisco? Remember the Jim Tomsula Era? What about the Chip Kelly era? Harbaugh’s been at Michigan for eight years. He’s on the cusp of his second straight CFP appearance and quite possibly a national title. He’s gotten his butt kicked by Ohio State, and now he’s returned the favor with two straight victories over the Buckeyes. Even after his dance with the Vikings last year, Michigan welcomed him back to the family, and yes, there’s a reason why he has such a low buyout number ($3 million). Irsay has been in the nice-guy business for years. He hired Tony Dungy, the Patron Saint of Good Men, and he hired Jim Caldwell and Chuck Pagano and Frank Reich and now, for the time being, Jeff Saturday. Ballard? Nice guy. Some will see his willingness to accommodate the media as some cynical attempt to curry favor; my sense is he genuinely enjoys (most of) the give and take and understands the requirements of our jobs. But whatever … Too often in recent years, the Colts have sided with sentimentality over cold, harsh objective reality, like when they stuck with Adam Vinatieri, who was making 78.6 percent of his extra points. They signed a way-past-his-prime T.Y. Hilton, despite clear evidence that he was done. This is a cold, hard business. Deal with it.
  12. How the fug did we get to this point? Basically all of those options suck. I would just go option 1 and pray it works.
