I dont really disagree, but its hard to argue he is as cool as a cucumber when everything is clean and he doesnt make mistakes. I want Clemson to blitz him more. But his touch and accuracy has always been impressive

I dont know his ceiling, but I will say again Ewers floor is a Kirk Cousins level player. I wouldnt take him in before the 3rd and his injury history is concerning but that kid is at worst a nfl level starter. He just takes what the defense gives him and doesnt seem to make bad throws or mistakes. Can he win a super bowl, probably not, his arm isnt that prolific but he is a very competent matt ryan esque qb.

He's posted that like 5 times now and is looking to be some sort of super fan or white knight. There is not one post of anyone actively rooting for him to fail. Its his go to line when another poster makes him look stupid which is coincidentally quite often. He is, by a wide margin, the most ignorant and hated poster on here.

Again the thing you are continually missing is the context of where he was and how he was playing. He was playing literally like the worst qb in the history of the nfl. He got benched and then was playing yes better but its relative to where he was. Yeah he made some nice throws but there was far more blah in there then a franchise qb. But keep making excuses as this is the second day in a row you have started a thread contorting things trying to defend him. Its comical. He is getting next year. I think we all see that but it would be retarded for them not to create competition for the off season and training camp. He is not owed the job outright

Is pretty clear he is getting next year but it would be damn criminal to not significantly upgrade the qb room and create competition. And after the 3rd season we have to make a decision on the 5th option which creates even more uncertainty. We are just not in a good spot and seem to have completely and totally squandered the "mythical rookie qb contract" due to his poo play and our terrible cap situation
