  1. He is literally the smallest qb ever in the modern era. And it's fuging hilarious how the narrative around young has completely changed. Now he needs a top oline, top rb and a top wr to be competitive. Damn that is a far cry from what he was sold to us as
  2. Top 5 oline. Top 8ish rb. 1rst rd wr. Theilen. Sure there should be upgrades but let's pull back on the excuses a bit.
  3. One of the two is going to happen regardless. No way they roll into 2025 with only young and Plummer on the roster. My gut says drew lock is making his way here
  4. I guess I know what the narrative is going to be all offseason
  5. Im sure he is going to drop jaws at the combine and pro day because that is his skill set. He throws a beautiful ball with great touch. It doesnt however show his ability to handle pressure or factor in his injure proneness. If you can get him in the rth (which is comical) then you have to do it but like you I think he is a late day 2 pick
  6. https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/draft/carolina-panthers-predicted-texas-longhorns-qb-2025-nfl-draft I mean in the 5th sure, why not
  7. do you truly believe he is a top 11 qb in the nfl right now?
  8. Damn that is a lot of kool aid in there. I still stand by my "C" grade for this draft and that even feels a tad high still
  9. our cap situation, especially with the incoming horn deal, doesnt allow us a ton of luxury in signing a vet
  10. There is absolutely no way this team should even remotely have brooks as part of any long term planning at this point. It's a sunk cost. Anything you can get from him down the road is a luxury. I've got a strong feeling he's toast. As for drafting a guy the only person I would draft high would be Hampton in the 3rdish other then that just burn a 6th or 7th on someone for a back up role.
  11. Nah. Kiper pretty much blows. Past or present. He clearly has agendas
  12. https://www.google.com/amp/amp.awfulannouncing.com/nfl/mel-kiper-said-hed-retire-2018-jimmy-clausen-wasnt-successful-nfl-qb-well.html Kiper had Clausen ranked as the fourth best prospect in the entire 2010 NFL Draft even though most other draft pundits had the QB projected to go in the second round (Clausen was subsequently selected 48th overall by the Carolina Panthers). At the time, people accused Kiper of being biased since he and Clausen shared the same agent, Gary Wichard. But Kiper only dug in his heels further, making this infamous proclamation on ESPN: “If Jimmy Clausen is not a successful quarterback in the NFL, I’m done. That’s it. I’m out.”
  13. If things hold on from here the 2026 qb class looks absolutely fuging loaded. At least 5 top tier prospects to start the season.
