I get it, I really do and not totally opposed to it, but by doing this you are basically ensuring at least 2 more shitty seasons at the very least. I think we have to pick a guy this year even if its a project to have someone that is potentially developing. Rolling with a vet next year feels like another top 5 pick.

I think he was a "fine" hire. I understood Tepper not wanting a guy like vrabel or harbaugh (and hes an idiot for it) but if you dont go that route then you are going to end up with a guy like DC. And like we said at the time there are plenty of red flags with this hire and I never understood the qb whisperer bullshit. All we can do is hope for the best he gets better as he gains experience and better players. The cynical part of me as a panther fan think this puppy is getting a coach/gm reboot in 2026.
