Reich is not the right coach for Bryce. Pretty obvious the offense has not been built around Bryce. There is a reason why the offense was better with a more normal QB vs Seattle. I don't trust Tepper, but I trust Reich even less that he can actually develop Bryce and not ruin him and if he is here next year the same crap is gonna happen because Reich wants Bryce to play like he is Stroud.

Reich did not build his offense for Bryce like he should have. He just took his old and outdated offensive schemes and told Bryce to deal with it. Reich was such a terrible hire.

Last 8 games have proven that defensive ranks are meaningless against this turd of an offense.

Never been a fan of comparing players or teams. It just comes off as cringe and lazy by the people who do it.

I wish people would STOP comparing Young to former, much, much better QBs. It is getting tiring.

Besides the Bryce problems. There is so much bad coaching, scheming and playcalling. I wonder if Thomas Brown isn’t a good OC or if Reich’s old ass philosophy has bled into even Thomas’ playcalling. Reich has to go. No way this magically gets better next year.

Kid is gonna have a long time to wait if Reich, Fitt and Tepper have their way.

People say this place is toxic but I think the people on here are probably pretty cool in real life. Except that one guy one here, you know who you are. Get it together. But this site and every other Panthers forum is just a reflection of this team. I guarantee that when/if this team is ever good the toxic levels will go down.

Still would have thought by this point Young would have shown SOMETHING to me fans feel good about this undersized QB. As of right now he has shown nada, nothing.

Through 8 games you’d think I would see something that made me excited about his throwing ability. But almost all I have seen is meh. Nothing exciting. Nothing that says yeah this guy was worth all the capital we spent on him. This guy was worth taking 1st overall. All I see is a struggling, mediocre at best QB. Regardless of being a rookie even Lawrence, people seem to love bringing him up, had some good highlights by the 8 game mark in spite of Urban Meyer being an idiot. I have said it before, you don’t trade up for a QB and take him first overall if you need a perfect team around him. If you do then the team made a big mistake.

Brees was also taller with a better arm. Bryce struggles to throw accurately at 20 yards. Never liked or agreed with the Brees comparison. I feel Bryce‘s ceiling is Bridgewater.

So Young needs a better coach. We are in agreement on that.

First overall picks should not need a perfect situation and I am seeing a lot of people saying that if he had a better o-line, better receivers, better everything he’d be much better. Maybe, but if I am drafting a QB, NUMBER ONE, in the draft he better be able to carry the team. Bryce may get better and be a decent QB with a good team around him. But I feel we will win games in spite of him not because of him.

At this point it is obvious that was fluff and propaganda for the masses.

What growth? Through 8 games I have pretty much seen the same QB. Only changes are is if he will throw some interceptions, but His stats have pretty much been identical through 8 games. QB School says there is growth. All I see is the same QB who checks down and is inaccurate downfield. Now he has happy feet after this game.

Really hedging your bet on a short QB that can’t make accurate long passes.

I just hope we don’t pull a Browns and bring back Reich even after we goes 1-16 or 2-15 thinking it will be different. Only real solace in that is we will be drafting top 5 again next year.
