Why do they have to be fat?

I kinda cringe when he says it is a 2-4 year plan because of the last regime. I hope it doesn’t take that long.

That is kinda what I have been to thinking. That our division being easy to win might be overblown. Falcons have a good coach and if everything comes together they could be a good team. Saints are a solid team. Good offense and defense. But can Carr lead the team to the playoffs and can the HC not suck. Tampa is really the only team I see where we might get 2 easy wins but they still have a solid core. But like the Saints will the QB play and HC bring them down.

Same and I chose the wrong profession.

Well not until we need him too. I expect him to run with the frequency of Mahomes, Rodgers(Prime) or Big Ben(Prime). They rarely run but when they do it is usually big pick up.

Mingo in the 70s and Thielen in the 80s is surprising.

As much as possible. I am curious how Coral will look. Since he was terrible last preseason.

I do remember him losing us a game vs the Eagles in 2003. Literally would have won if Karsey made all his kicks. So he was capable of being bad at the wrong time.

I have had him blocked when he appeared before the draft.

Also we had the Patriots on 3rd and 10 and couldn’t stop them. Kasey was a factor. But one of many.

Again. I am saying Burns isn’t worth 25 million per year or a 100 plus million dollar contract. I never said we shouldn’t try to sign him and take advantage of our rookie QB contract. I just wish we could get him cheaper. I would be fine with 15-18 million per. But 25 million is elite. Which I don’t think he is yet. I hope it works out and the Burns finally reached that point.

If we pay Burns the same as Bosa I am gonna blow a gasket. Now way in hell is he worth a 100+ million dollar contract.

Training camp and preseason are gonna be fun.

Gonna be interesting to see how long it takes for people to start complaining we overpayed Burns. It will happen. Unless Burns flips a switch and becomes suddenly dominant.

He possibly could, in a few years. I just want to see some continued improvement from him though out the season that is all.

Does he think Nebraska fans won’t come after him if he sucks? Big 10 is also a tougher conference.

That is if you believe in cliche stuff like that. Plenty of bad teams have had “chips of their shoulders” or a bulletin boards. What matters is what happened on the field. Ron have a curse ridden speech when we were getting out asses kicked by the Steelers. Didn’t affect anything and we still sucked in the second half. What I am saying is the lists that come out are pointless. Just some garbage to read during the slow times.

I mean during the first 4 year, yeah. But most RBs take a step back after that first contract. Most do, not all, but most.

Wonder if Horn’s injuries keep happening if the Panthers will pick up his 5th year?

I am all for positivity but last year pre-season rankings had the Panthers as competing for the number 1 pick and if Rhule had of stayed the coach we probably would have been. A lot of news outlets have the Panthers as pretty bad. We will see if it ends up being true. I would love a 2015 type story were everyone had us DOA after losing KB and proving ever pundit wrong.
