  1. I honestly didn't like his instincts when I watched his cut-ups. Athletic, but looked lost at times.
  2. You're drafting flawed players at this point. Lots of NFL starters knocking around, as evidenced by every NFL roster and the law of averages.
  3. On the flip side, here's our current roster: https://www.ourlads.com/nfldepthcharts/depthchart/CAR I can find 11 guys I'd cut from that without batting an eyelid.
  4. Nah, both arguments are valid. There's a strong case for quality over quantity, and vice versa. We'll see how it plays out.
  5. Apparently he's trying to rectify that 6.1 average picks per Draft (or whatever that number was) stat in one go.
  6. I was going to say. Rhule last night "Y'know we still have several guys with 2nd and 3rd round grades on the board". Fitterer this afternoon "Yeah, about that..."
  7. Man this Jets Draft is brutal. Imagine being in Darnold's inner circle right now, you'd be livid. They sacrificed you last year and then draft 4 straight offensive players.
  8. Yes, I'm aware we have the 4th pick in this round. I'm saying they trade that 5th and those 6ths to get back into the round.
  9. Under. I think they trade back into the 4th round and call it a day.
  10. They did, but they also got ahead of all the 3rd round comp picks - so I can see why they did it.
  11. So is this our Day 3 general thread then?
  12. Good article, but they've got the acronym wrong I'm afraid, it's the Rhule Against Slowness score.
  13. Bearing in mind McKitty was taken in the 3rd round, NFL teams clearly value the TE position.
  14. Honestly I think it's relief. I can't imagine they expected such a run on OTs to happen when they traded down from #39.
  15. My board; whoever's still available with a score over 8 on the Rhule Against Slowness board.
  16. That's my thinking - I wouldn't be surprised if we have two high 4th round picks tomorrow and call it a night.
  17. Oh of course. I watched the cut-up of him v. Boston College and the dude just wasn't targeted. Blocked a few guys into oblivion though. Obviously had to go and find out whether he had a highlights tape of him catching the ball and, yep. Shows strong hands - so it must just have been a bad QB / stacked TE room thing 'cos he can play.
  18. No, but he's a zone OL and that's what we're looking for. Some of the unathletic monsters people are listing wouldn't fit the system.
  19. Look at my avatar. Tremble has more potential than Jordan and plays with way more fire. I do like Yeboah a pure receiving TE though. McKitty did jack poo at two colleges.
  20. I mean fug it, with how quickly we get the ball out, if Christensen just has to be serviceable at LT for it to work.
  21. How often were Armah, Thomas and Manhertz on the field? Right now he's TE2, but already a better blocker than Arnold so I suspect he'll be in a lot on obvious running downs. Arnold is your redzone TE though.
