    Nah, look at his stats (if you're not going to watch him play), he was a very good College player who exploded in a perfect scheme fit on a very talented team as a RS Senior. As a Canes fan would I take him in the first round? Absolutely not. Second round? Absolutely.

    We don't know how it's going to turn out at the moment as he's just had the surgery, but I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back and isn't anywhere near the same player.

    He'll be out for 6-9 months at a minimum, possibly even 12 months and he'll never recover the explosion he once had - if he even comes back (I think it ends the career of like 20% of players that suffer it). If the research I did on the injury is correct (it was a while ago).

    Dowdle was good for a short stretch. He was poor outside those three weeks or so he turned into Adrian Peterson

    When people say 'Edge' do they mean OLB in a 3-4? Cos to me the biggest glaring need on D is a competent 3-4 DE that actually penetrates the OLine. If Brown doesn't make something happen, nobody else does.

    Love got absolutely bodied by the Canes. So no. He's not a generational RB and that's the only reason you'd spend a first round pick on a RB.

    Well the good news is this O has a lot of talent. The NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year at WR, for example.

    We gave up the farm to draft this guy. The most 'pro ready' QB in the Draft. We're in year four and people are still making excuses for him. I feel like banging my head against a wall.

    Why is the bar 'Franchise QB'? Just get me a legit NFL starter. That'd be a huge upgrade over Bryce Young.

    I think you have to factor in that we're still not an attractive proposition for Head Coaches. You're not getting the cream of the crop if you fire Canales a year after winning the NFC South, especially considering the situation he walked into.

    Well yes, because then their stats and metrics would start to reflect what we saw every Sunday in Autumn for the last 3 years.
