I unfortunately agree it was a very risky move at the time. It was also one that would be under the microscope and now it's blown up in our faces. If you could please enlighten me on where you've heard this about Nicole talking to Morgan about draft prospects because I don't recall ever hearing that. I really hope it isn't true. But I know what to expect from the Tepper's.

Who drafted him?

Dan Morgan.

I still think he can and will be good for us. The problem is he was a raw prospect and nobody has the patience for it and I don't blame anyone for feeling that way. But again. We have to start asking tough questions of our front office and scouts because this is the second WR we've drafted in two years that has suspect at best hands and a limited sample size of production. We knew this when we drafted them. Morgan was heavily involved in the selection of Mingo too. We can bash these guys all we want but they didn't draft themselves. Folks here need to decide what they want. Morgan has gotten a lot of praise as of late but people need to start asking more questions about our scouting process and why we covet some of the players we do over others.

This falls on our front office and scouting staff. They are making the choice to draft guys that have to develop hands instead of the other way around.

It's been a well coached game from Canales and Bryce is playing well within that structure. It's good to see. The biggest takeaway I have right now is so far our head coach is looking like the guy we sought when we hired him. That's something to build on heading into next season regardless of QB.

Eh I don't think it's going to change you look at kicker across the nfl this is how the position is now. There's no more rock solid kickers like that anymore. Teams just switch and keep it pushing.

Enough with the Ray Finkle shenanigans. Where's that kicker we had in camp? Bring him in and see what's what.

Hoping for the best for Brooks. But RB is and has been a devalued position investment wise for most teams. Panthers should have continued building the oline by investing in a center for the future. We always do things like this. Morgan played with fire and got burned.
