  1. They'll be speculation all week--They may or may not Practice Wednesday (Cmac should Rhule said-Darnold not sure). If they do practice and there is no issues at practice or on Thursday (Day after tightness/swelling/ dizziness) then they will probably be listed as questionable. Rhule will keep it close to the vest. Final injury report is Friday- If they are not practicing on Friday they probably won't play. If they are active for the game by Saturday then they will probably play. So there's a chance we won't know right up until game time.
  2. Facts are that PJ has not been good- even in the Lions game. Our D dominated that Game. PJ threw 2 Ints when we were in the red zone versus Det. We won in spite of him. I'm not saying PJ can't perform better. He has some talent, but against NFL pressure he makes mistakes and processes even slower than Darnold. If our D plays well and we are able to run the ball 45+ times again we could still win with him. Otherwise PJ as our starter well....
  3. Its ain't catch out in the yard with your grandpa and sister. Hope he is ok-but you make that catch
  4. Burns should have went for the ball on that sack--Luvu had Ryan who presented Burns the ball! Good Play Though!
  5. Zane is one player who has been improving since he came here. Its good to see.
  6. Maybe Phil will scheme more odd fronts using Yetur and/or Morgan and play Burns standing up.
  7. I am watching today. I'm a sucker I guess. I keep hoping that all the practice and film watching causes someone to realize a better "Process" to stick to. Hopefully today- 1- something clicks with the O-Line 2-Sam slows down his drop but speeds up his processing and gets the ball out on time. 3- receivers catch balls that hit them in the hands 4- Joe Brady actually calls more runs 5- No injuries, especially on Defense 6- Matt Ryan takes the "hundo" I sent him and throws a couple of balls to Chinn, or Donte 7- We all Keep Pounding and Power Through...
  8. He was on the injury report-shoulder i think.
  9. Only 3 Interior D-line guys active today. They'll be tired late in the game. God forbid one of those guys gets hurt.
  10. Not confirmed no...Rhule said earlier this week that he'd probably play -As of yesterday was listed as Questionable
  11. With- maybe Gilmore on the field and Shaq back in the lineup we have a chance--I hope.
  12. I have figured it out. I have been watching the season fall apart and wondering why Rhule, Blackburn or Brady can't get this sh-tshow back on track. I watch every game and can call out what we run before we run it offensively (95% or so of the time). I know we have potential and talent (on both sides of the ball), and yes our O-line does suck- but I have the answers. I mean I know what we should do. I suggest plays and tatics that will help mitigate alot of our issues right from my couch! I hope Rhule and others will take my advice--see what I see...but they don't. So Why? What's different (besides they are actual coaches who have access to these players and evaluate them and know them each personally)? Its my couch! These Guys just need a couch! If they were sitting on a couch watching the game with a beer and some snacks they'd be the same as me and maybe see the same obvious issues and fixes. HEY TEPPER! Get these guys a couch to watch the game from!
  13. Team: - Offense * O-Line is a disaster and inept across the board (T-mo even seems to be regressing next to the rest of these Guys) * QB Play is horrendous. Darnold has arm talent but makes poor decisions and processes too slow, the only QB who may be worse is PJ Walker--who is our backup. PJ was like 3rd string at the colts (barely on a roster). * Rest of the offense- Anderson has the droppsies and hasn't shown up besides to drop a ball here and there, DJ is supposed to be a great after contact receiver (but seems to prefer avoiding contact). Terrace Marshall hasn't impressed me much yet- and now he's hurt. Tremble has potential but we traded away our only real receiving TE for a CB (a kid who has barely seen the field). CMAC is amazing but out again (you know what they say about availability). Our backup RBs are backups for a reason--that reason is poor pass pro--Chubba may grow into something but he is not a good back now. -Defense * Everyone knows there's talent here but, except when attacking rookie QBs, they don't seem to be able to reach their potential. Injuries have reared up here but we were supposed to be deep (and should be). Where are our play makers? Reddick is perhaps our most consistent player- DJack has flashed, but they have struggled in the Second Half to close out games. That could be because they are so tired after being on the field the entire 3rd quarter in most games. -Special Teams * We have had trouble here for a long time. Nothing has gotten better. Zane is better than expected (but much wasn't expected)- Punting has mostly been woeful and returns have not impressed. Protection on punts and FGs has been bad. - Coaching * Simply put we have been out coached repeatedly this year. Teams have made adjustments at HT that we have had no answer for. I have watched other teams change what they do to help the players they put on the field why we seem to do the same thing over and over and expect our player to somehow execute better even when the other team knows exactly what we are going to do. I like Rhule and his process oriented approach, but at some point if the process isn't working you might want to change it a little here and there. I am pretty sure he see's the problems (especially with the offense). I think I see some ways to adjust with the talent we have to make things better, but I'm not an NFL coach. I saw the Giants do some of those things (move the pocket, half the field, reduce Jones' progressions). I thought those were things we could do for Darnold- but we haven't really tried them that I've seen. Those things might not work for us but I'd like to see something a little different besides "we are gonna run more, unless we get behind and have the throw the ball a billion times." That said- Im not against running more, but I'd like that stick to it. Go heavy and pound the frigging rock our get creative and spread everyone out and then pitch or option...get the ball out to DJ or Shi or Tremble in more unconventional plays...something other than tell everyone we are going to run more then line up and run it the same way you've run it all year-kinda -half-heartedly and the abandon it ... Anyway I'm out... Hopefully we win next week Keep Pounding
