  1. Yep. He can just go out there and "hit the ground running" as the expression goes. His only challenge is learning the playbook, which I have no doubt he'd have any trouble doing.
  2. Yeah I'm sure implying to Rhule that someone (whose team just traded for) is a BUST will certainly result in him coming back for another interview. /s
  3. I read the title and immediately thought "uh oh...is this going to be a what-if if we did not address Left Tackle to help Sam?" lol
  4. Demaryius Thomas was a bum. I could count on one hand the number of times I even heard his name called. The only players Sam had success with were Robbie (who ended up here) and Crowder. He also threw to some TE named Hogan. Leveon Bell wasn't brought to the Jets to be a Wide Receiver. He was brought there to run the ball.... ...and he SUCKED at doing that. Could've been the Offensive-line's doing (which is a possibility) but he did not get the job done. So he wasn't any help for Sam. It's not a case of Sam not having good players around him...it's a case of Sam not having *ENOUGH* good players around him. As a Panther now. he will have MORE than enough.
  5. Co-sign. If it's a backup who Sam could communicate with on the sidelines on any QB questions he may have, I'm all for it. If the purpose is to supplant Sam as starter, that's a hard pass.
  6. Well Mr. Scot, I am at a loss 'cause it's not showing up for me. So hopefully, I am careful to check my grammar, spelling, and other things before posting 'cause I apparently only have one shot.
  7. Yep. Here's something else to consider : Even after Adam Gase was fired, he STILL did not throw him under the bus when no one would've blamed him if he did. He's a true class act.
  8. I don't see it. All I see is the ... where it gives only two choices to Share or Report. Where would you usually see the Edit button?
  9. *made OF. Why can't I edit my posts? Do we not have the option here?
  10. Anyway, in all seriousness, we will soon know once and for all what Sam Darnold is made up. Hopefully, he's made of the same stuff as his late Grandfather : https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2018/04/27/jets-sam-darnold-a-lot-like-late-marlboro-man-grandfather/34328719/ And his Grandfather's name is even more epic : Dick Hammer.
  11. What were *you* doing in 9th grade, I wonder? lol
  12. You're....actually not wrong there. Only difference is that Sam needs to produce as soon as possible as he doesn't have the luxury of being able to say "Hey! I'm just a rookie learning" like Fields.
  13. You do realize that Fields is going to be playing for the Chicago Bears, right? Not exactly a franchise that has been kind to any QB historically and I don't see that changing anytime soon. In fact, I can safely bet on Sam outplaying Fields by a country mile...by mid-season.
  14. @iamhubby1, you know what? Forget I mentioned that record. I did not do proper research. I meant to say that for Sam to even have a PLUS- .500 TD to INT ratio after 3 seasons overall over there, speaks volumes. LOL.
  15. First off, hello! I'm new here. Now that said, The Jets were no good. What did you expect? That franchise is a dumpster fire and for Sam to even have a PLUS-.500 RECORD after 3 seasons overall over there, speaks volumes. He'll do great here.
