  1. Because some here like to talk about Ex-Girlfriends, I guess.
  2. We likely wouldn't be in this position if Walker didn't get injured. We would be getting ready for another offseason right now, playing out the string. PJ, as amazing as it sounds, may be an even worse QB than Sam.
  3. I hope @CPsinceDay1doesn't go ballistic when he sees this : LOL
  4. God I hope not. That's pure Same Old Jets s--t I had been dealing with for decades...
  5. Depends on how the Running game shakes out for the Panthers. If it's rolling like last week (or close to it), I say the Panthers take full control of this game and win this going away. If not, it could be a boring slogfest.
  6. @Mr. Scotalso wanted to remind us what a No-Talent, Money-Stealing, Clueless Jackass looks like.
  7. And calling 5-8 yard passes Not-Real NFL passes is just silly. This offense is built on the Running game so Screens and quick throws to your RB's are more commonplace than before.
  8. I don't get what you're trying to say here. What difference does it make so long as it moves the chains?
  9. Pray balls? I don't want to go overboard like some of the Darnold fan-boosters here but are you serious? I am no longer a fanboy but I'm not blind either. Those passes to Moore are not Pray balls. They are legit Deep balls that many of us (me included) have complained that Sam is incapable of throwing. Yet he did throw them and they looked pretty solid. He certainly won't be mistaken for other Elite QBs but he CAN (apparently) make the throws; it's accuracy that's been his issue and last game, it wasn't. I want to see more of this type of accuracy going forward (if possible) :
  10. You do know that this is the final year of Sam's contract, right? I think there's plenty of pressure for him to PLAY WELL so that either the Panthers or some other team decide to give him another shot.
  11. Who'd want to live in Iowa? (if anyone from Iowa reads this, please don't kill me)
  12. I think the wildcard here is Sam, imo. If he plays like the QB3 of Arizona, then yeah it might be an unwatchable slogfest. If he plays like he has done in the Panthers wins he's started, I think there is a chance the Panthers can make some big plays off playaction and take control of the game from the outset.
  13. Because I want to be Mr. Optimist here, I'm going to say that they find a way to somehow..some way....beat both the Bucs AND the refs next week. Then using that momentum, they go up to New Orleans the following week and escape with a nail-biter-of-a-win(game winning FG) to get into the Playoffs.
  14. Co-sign. All the Cards had to do was run the ball between the tackles and the Bucs would've folded like a cheap suit. Instead they did all these gadget plays and end-arounds and other bullsh*t you usually see from teams like the Jets....and they lost.
  15. Well the Panthers are going to run the ball 50 times next week so....
  16. so should we start doing a counter of how many PI's are called against us next week? lol
  17. So I agree with @LinvilleGorge that we should roll with Sam as a bridge QB while we seek the next Franchise QB. I just want some goddamn stability back in that position.
  18. Agreed 10000%. We still need to run the table to get in ANYWAY. Though it would've been hilarious if the Cards could pull off the upset. Oh well.
  19. Welp....so what else is new? Brady was not going to lose to some rookie in this situation.
  20. That is a BIG win in the Coin-toss. I think if the Bucs won it, I think they score and win the game. Big opportunity for a MASSIVE upset here.
  21. Perhaps the injury was a blessing in itself as it allowed him to continue to sit and learn? Someone did mention he was watching other games as well (probably seeing what other QBs are doing and what he can do to better himself).... I'll say this for him : He's come a long way from that ridiculous Podcast appearance where he had an over-inflated opinion of himself.
